Great quality remote control
Magic remotes have a tendency to break down, we can vouch for that we are in our third unit! So, itโs important t to have a good quality reasonably priced solution with all the functionality of the original remote. This unit is perfect and seems to be comparable in every respect to the original at a far more affordable price. Hopefully it will last longer than the others. Very pleased.

Magic remote works great with my LG Nanocell 55"
I took a chance on this after seeing the price of the original LG one.My original LG remote stopped working out of the blue, with the light stuck on as if a button was stuck down. I took it to bits, cleaned it, replaced the batteries, re-paired to the TV but it didn't help so I resigned myself to replacing it.This one is identical to the original, except maybe slightly lighter? The magic pointer feature works fine as does the voice remote and I've found no issues using it with my 3 year old LG SM8050PLC.Hopefully I won't need to but would definitely buy again.

work's sometimes
the remote connected straight away but is constantly updating so you have to wait to use it. also it doesn't operate the sound bar unlike the original save your money buy a genuine one

Badly manufactured
Every few years we fall for this remote, our last two the wheel stopped working. This third one we recently ordered the part that secures the batteries on the back won't stay in place. I'm moving on to a better one moving forward.

Scroll wheel snapped after 2 months
Bought this remote as a replacement for an old B8 OLED due to the fact that the button icons had worn away. From the start the remote felt cheaper in the hand and the scroll wheel wasn't as smooth. Despite the drawbacks it seemed to work fine as a cheaper alternative until today when the scroll wheel snapped. This makes the remote effectively useless as you can't press the enter button. I can only put this down to build quality as the old remote survived 5 years of heavy use and still works perfectly.I should have just bought a button replacement pad instead.
