Q: where do I put the catnip?

Additionally, there is a replacement pack of catnip included in the box which can be used once the original one loses its attractiveness over time. Q: Where is the catnip that is included with the toy supposed to go?

Good Question - I don't think that it goes inside the switch area (round plastic area) because it's quite small. We wound up putting the cat nip in a plastic back and then placed the ball inside to "soak" up the cat nip scent. Hope this helps.

Q: Is this toy suppose to move around by itself?

It is a chirping toy and if you turn it on, once cats tap or touch it, it will chirp with different sounds and cats will be attracted.
