Like my Bionic even with its flaws.
Though I like my Bionic and it does increase the angle of the ball to roll better on the back end giving my numerous 230 plus games it does have its flaws. The strap over the wrist is awkward to put on. The hook system is difficult. Also, the device is not easy to position on the hand consistently. If you take it off during the game and then need to put it back on there is no way to get it positioned exactly where is was the first time on the hand again. It could be either higher or lower on the hand because there is no obvious dividing point for where it should be place.

It wasn't pretty but, I swore I saw the ball hook ...
I have recently started bowling again and have never been able to throw a hook. A couple of months back I got myself a new ball and was determined to finally learn. I came to realize that the way my wrist was breaking was not allowing this to happen for me.I went on Amazon to look for a wrist brace and came across the Bionic. I packed it in my bag but, was hesitant to use it. In the second frame of my first game, I decided to give it a go. It wasn't pretty but, I swore I saw the ball hook slightly. For the remainder of my games, I worked on my approach and release. Sure enough, I began regularly hooking the ball. I really like the extended finger feature. I was seeing rotation on the ball that I had never seen before. Now, I just need to pick up those spares...Certainly, it's going to take some time for me to get used to it but, after today, I am sold.

Very comfortable, look forward to using it.
Having been out of the bowling game for almost 20 years, I needed something to help me train my wrist with the new weight and helping me try out new methods.Previously my father trained me as a C-method bowling and I only really made a small hook but at 6 years old, bowled a roughly 200 average(no bumpers) with an 8 pound ball. After years of casually bowling and using terrible house balls, I decided with my current girlfriend to start going bowling more as covid eases restrictions. But this time, I purchased several new balls ranging from 15-16lbs. With this added weight that I’m not used to (normally bowl with 11-13lb balls as they seemed the most comfortable) I think this will help me significantly with keeping my wrist in the proper position and help me build strength as I adjust to these new balls.

For those looking for pain relief...
Got back into bowling after more than a decade away as a great way to spend time with our son. Quickly found that years of carpel tunnel and a middle bowling hand finger that had been broken multiple times over the years left me with a good amount of pain after each day at the lanes. Looking around for something that would be not only wrist support but fingers as well left me confused. Decided to try the Bionic FX on a whim, and after a game of sorting out how to use it I have to say I'm thrilled. Scores went up, hook increased in a positive and controlled way, and most importantly my hand felt MUCH better after a 3 game set The guard supports the back of your fingers to the middle knuckle and it made a huge difference. Highly recommended! Now F it dude, let's go bowling. :-)

Good brace, not great hook yet.
I bought this brace primarily to work on my hook and get more revs. I should mention that I suck in general, but there wasn't a significant improvement in my first three games. I did like the amount of support this gave to my wrist and to keep my hand cupped, and I think with time and practice I'll develop the hook I'm looking for.

Brunswick Bionic Wrist Positioner XF- Right Hand
A very good product....the only issue is that I have a little bigger hands size than your largest size. Plus the velcro holding the unit to wrist portion of the arm is never extended enough (for some reason always 2-3 inches too short on these units) Please take in consideration on the XF version to have a XF plus for us big guys out here. We understand it cost more but I am not opposed to paying more for it. The unit keeps sliding to the right off the finger because of not being large enough and not enough velcro to keep in place snug to wrist. So help us big guys out....James Smith

Works for me!
I received this product on May 23rd 2021. It’s now June 22nd 2021. My average was 153 when I bought the wrist brace. Out of my last 14 games bowled I’ve had five 200+ games (from 202 to 239). That’s more 200+ games than I had all of last fall league (35 weeks). My wrist isn’t tired and sore anymore after bowling as many as 7 games in 2 days. Normally my wrist would’ve been pretty fatigued by the end of the 3rd game each day. This product offers great wrist support and a much more consistent delivery for me.I don’t know why people complain about it being difficult to put on. It takes literally like 2 seconds to put this on and I’m ready to go.Bottom line… it works for me!!!I hope it does for you too.

Great support and control
Great support and control. I takes a few games to get used to the feel but once a had a few games with it my release was very consistent.

Large is not really large
Used a cobra large for years, so I ordered large and my index finger sticks out passed the unit. Really small and not large as indicated.
