Amazing tv the picture is fantastic and of course Sony quality I love it, it’s replacing a Sony Bravia that I bought back in 2008 which has been flawless, a line appeared across the bottom of the screen about a month ago so I’ve moved it into upstairs bedroom it will do well for grandkids. I have to say the new tv is absolutely fantastic! Plus you can’t beat Amazon for price and delivery

Absolutely amazing, the quality is superb seems to be in real life. Cost a bit more but the money go somewhere, audio system is also top quality and you won’t need any other in addition. Recommended

The picture quality through the aerial is poor, and colours are dull. Sony are getting worse.

Worked great straight out of the box. Had two remotes, but complete genius. Simple and straightforward to use. 90 year old mother could use it in about 2 minutes. I’ve not had a call to say she can’t do something. No error messages- no Freely software! Bad experience with another brand running Freely software with intermittent channel drop outs taking hours to resolve. This Sony TV is easy to use, but do not recommend someone over 80 can set it up, uses QR codes to join other 3rd party providers. Easy if you are familiar with these things. Has 4 HDMi ports which is a huge plus.

The primary means of positioning this TV is via the included feet (2 off) that the TV stands on. These feet simply slot into 2 square holes in the bottom of the TV so are easy to install. They are 700mm apart and are 265mm wide. This is a problem for us since we have a 980mm wide sound bar that sits directly in front of the TV on the Wooden TV stand and this TV, and its feet leave nowhere convenient for us to position our sound bar. None of this is mentioned in the listing or even in the installation instructions but is a huge issue that many others may have. This is a shame since apart from this, this is a very capable TV with excellent picture quality, and it does have good built-in speakers, just not as good as our sound bar. It provides access to all the main viewing options that, unfortunately the remote does not have short cut keys to access these options without going through the apps on the TV, which is a pain.

Nice television easy to set up very happy

Wifi receiver in TV very poor - disconnects and reconnects frequently. Manhattan FreeviewPlay recorder at the same location never has a wifi problem, so theTV wifi is at fault. Could not face the disruption involved in returning it, so I bought an Amazon Firestick, which also connects without difficulty and gives me the streaming services I should have got from the'smart' TV! The Sony TV is, therefore, no more than a basic monitor - just a very expensive monitor.
