Best RGB color for Budget Mini-LED
Bought the budget TCL mini-led QM5K 50 inch and everything about it was perfect (Google TV) but the color was a little off and not sure if that is a one-off issue, or if all 5K's are like that. Very impressive with vibrant colors and smooth clear images, but it didn't have a wide range in the yellow and orange colors. It was a little limited even after trying all sorts of color calibrations and adjustments. Bought this TV and it does have smooth play issues (stuttering) at the beginning of Prime Video. After about a minute, it is okay. Tried both Ethernet and WIFI and it didn't matter. Haven't tried my fire or Roku stick yet, but I might. If this Hisense had Google TV, I would have bought two, no question. I don't like Fire much. As for the color, I use the "Custom" setting for Picture Mode and the color is EXACTLY the way I like it. It's so good, I didn't even check the other settings. I use the same exact numbers for HLG, HDR10, and "standard video (like youtube) and live TV". Having "Skin Tone Control" really helps add more color without over-saturation. I didn't see that on my TCL. Not sure if the AI chip learns the signal format, but it does seem to improve the more I use it. Not a lot, but it does seem smoother and clearer now than out of the box. Another win for this TV over the 5K is I have it hooked up to a Vizio sound bar. On this TV, when you adjust the volume, it gives a number value (10,12,14) but the TCL just shows + or -. I like to see the number volume value. Since Fire isn't intuitive for setting, you have to disconnect the eARC HDMI cable, THEN adjust your bass/treble, then plug it back in. (huh?) to add depth to the sound bar. Hisense does need to tweak this model a little bit, and if they do, it will be very much a value win as a mini-led at this price point and is very much worth it. I almost went with a QLED, but glad I spent the extra $100 or so for mini-led.

Only brand TV I buy these days
Love this 65” I purchased my first Hisense about 27 yrs ago. Was a 40in on sale for under $150. It was for kids game machine to get them off family set. Never heard of them so was an experiment. Was very impressed with the quality picture. Worked too good. Son’s dog was visiting and charged a dog on the screen and fractured it. Big strong hard headed beast. Replaced with 55” 25 yrs going strong. So, long story short I exclusively purchase Hisense since. Each one has been great and a super value and no failures. This one (65”)has continued to uphold and exceed my expectations. We stream, connect devices, use over wireless, have in a home theater etc. Several of my friends have spent thousands more on other brands that are supposed to be the best. But, all have had different issues from physical hardware breakages to display scan issues and WiFi connectivity issues. When they see mine and ask what brand and how much I paid they think I’m joking. Only brand I buy now. Even the latest CES 26 reviews rated their newest in each category among the top 3. I’d even argue some of the ratings preferences as they got down to subjective minor differences. Hisense just released a 100in. Category set. I’d love to get it but can’t justify it to my wife. 65in TVs are all great and she makes the good argument the newer models in that category will get better after a year or two. I’d recommend mounting any TV of 65in or higher. Mostly as a safety factor. Wall mounts are so inexpensive with lots of features and you won’t have to worry about little ones getting injured. Recommend Buy.

Worth it!!! Would say definitely connect Internet directly to the TV to enjoy highest quality.
I was terrified it was just going to be a big screen, looks good AF. Super heavy, lots of cardboard and Styrofoam clean up. But amazing tv. Worth it, I was scared because it was such a low price, but it 100% was worth it. Hard connect to the Internet and enjoy super detail video. I specifically put YouTube in 2160 to see it and it stumbled on wifi, but hard wired the the Internet and now it's perfect. You'll never regret getting a big tv. Unless you drop it lol. Living the luxury life now with this thing.

Perfect TV for the price.
Great TV. Picture quality is great.. easy to connect to WI-FI, remote is also easy to navigate. At first the TV did not seem that bright but you can easily change from Movie mode, picture mode, etc to adjust the picture to as bright or dim that you need for your surroundings. We use it in a very dark movie room so the bright picture really stands out. I did a lot of research before purchasing this TV and for the price it is a fantastic TV.

Hisense QD7
Solid TV’s I can’t complain they do everything I needed them for & the picture quality is great. I was gonna spend a little more for the U7 but this model fit my needs perfectly at a better price so I bought two. Great for gaming.
