Will the device turn off automatically if BT is paired but no audio is playing? I have another that shuts off after 5 min, even when paired.

No, which makes this device slightly inconvenient for cars with power ports that stay on even when the car is off (like my 2010 Audi A3) since it won’t automatically reconnect in that case.  However I found a workaround by installing one of these switches on the power line.  I hide the switch under the console and just switch it on and the Tunai will automatically reconnect.

Can this be used to connect the entertainment unit (movies and /or music) in the airplane to a set of bluetooth wireless headphones

Accepted Answer

Interesting thought, but no. Regardless of what regulations may or may not say, this device is a Bluetooth RECEIVER only, much like output-only headphones (without a mic) are. What you would need is a Bluetooth TRANSMITTER or TRANSCEIVER to send the data to your headphones.

My car has bluetooth for phone so will this be a problem? when i get in car and auto connect to both will calls still work with my cars hands free?

The beauty of this product is that will not interfere at all with your cars Bluetooth phone connection. It will just do audio. Every other product I tried interfered with phone calling because they were all designed to do both. This device is perfect for the older car with Bluetooth phone and an audio Jack input for music

Hi, is it normal that I hear a hard noice, kind of like unplugging aux cable noise, each time switching between apps or unlocking the phone?
