**Q: can prescription lenses be put in the frames**
A: The frames are very thin, flexible and uncomfortable with sharp edges on the ear and nose piece.  I bought them for part of my Halloween costume and could only wear them for about 30-45 seconds.  Took them off and threw them away.  You would be better off going to a dollar store and buying their reading glasses.  Don't waste your money on these.

**Q: What is the lens material, plastic or glass?**
A: They appear to be glass, BUT do not purchase theses are junk and might fit your 3 year old.

**Q: My husband wants these for his costume, but he has a big noggin...would they fit him?**
A: Although they seem small in the picture, they are actually quite large and will fit your husband perfectly. My teenager used the glasses as part of a Teddy Roosevelt costume for her HS American History class, and they went perfect with her outfit. They were large on her and she has a wide face.

**Q: would these fit my 6 year old?**
A: yes.  My 5 year old son wears them all the time.  I got them to go with his Polar Express costume.  Very cute.
