It’s incredibly accurate, easy to use, and makes measuring coffee beans much more convenient and consistent. The design is sleek and modern, and the cup feels well-built and high quality. I bought this coffee scale to have a way to weigh my coffee before grinding it. This device is elegant, the display is cleverly hidden until you wake it up, and it seems to be very precise. It is also rechargeable via USB-C. And the battery, though proprietary, is replaceable!! (At least that is the claim). I really think companies should follow this example and sacrifice a tiny bit of looks or functionality for the ability to replace batteries, especially these days when devices are getting more and more expensive. This is a great device, elegant, useful and functional. I can leave it on my counter all the time and it does not look ugly or something I should hide until I need it. I am very happy with it.

For you espresso snobs, this has the cool factor. Very functional. Very easy to use. Plus I think it’s a good value.

This is a really nice scale and I love not having to use a separate container to hold my coffee. The battery lasts a long time and the front button makes clearing the weight very easy. I use a Fellow Aiden coffee machine and typically brew 4-5 cups requiring ~45g of coffee. The scale's capacity accommodates this but it is quite full. If you're in need of a coffee scale and regularly measuring more than about 45gs you may want to look for a larger solution.

Great little scale, fun and surprisingly useful. I’ve had some time to use this scale and wanted to give an honest take. This is one of those tools you do not really need, but once you have it, it is actually very fun to use. I’ve been enjoying it a lot. I would not use this for espresso or hot drinks directly since it is plastic, but for general weighing and dosing it works really well. Pros Very fun to use Lightweight and easy to use Very readable display Battery lasts a long time Holds calibration really well once set Cons I did have to buy calibration weights separately to dial it in properly, which adds a little extra cost The scale does not really start registering until around 0.5 to 1 gram. If you are doing very small adjustments under about 0.5g, you will still need a more sensitive scale for that Once it does start reading though, it becomes very sensitive and accurate in 0.1 gram increments, especially when using the dosing cup. Once calibrated, it also holds that calibration really well. I’m probably around 100 doses in and it is still staying consistent. Overall I would recommend it as a secondary scale. It is simple, reliable, and fun to use, just not the right tool for those very small adjustments. If I could rate it 4.5 stars I would.

So I just recently got bitten by the home barista bug. And since I'm a born equipment freak, my kitchen counter is already looking like a chemistry lab crowded with all the espresso accessories. Now this little device looked so cool I couldn't stop myself. Not absolutely necessary, especially at the price, since it duplicates two other pieces of equipment I already have. But now my flat scale can just sit on the drainboard of the machine, and I can put away the bean cup I was using, because this dosing cup does the work of both. I confess that I went for the cheaper Chinese knockoff first, but with that one you can't read the display unless you bend down to counter top level. The Subminimal Dosing Cup has the inner back wall actually tilted away from you, so the display is totally readable from above. And it's really comfortable to hold one-handed while slow-pouring the beans into the single-dose hopper of my grinder. I have to smile every time I use this thing.

Do you need this fancy scale? Probably not, but it's super cool and works great.

Nice product, a little finicky to use at first but once you do learn how- it’s a great convenient scale that really improved my espresso work flow - I highly recommend this

Balance très précise et affichage exceptionnel

Works great. One of the things that has greatly improved my workflow. 4 stars because the touch button is so sensitive that when handling the scale it very easily switches between metric and imperial so it’s a bit annoying to have to switch back and forth quite often. Should be a really long press or maybe a triple press or a separate button. One usually doesn’t switch between metric and imperial that often if ever so that function shouldn’t be so easy to accidentally activate as a light double press which it sometimes registers just by picking it up. Otherwise no complaints and definitely recommend.

Sinceramente este producto lo estuve buscando por mucho tiempo y es increíble. Ventajas: 1. La estética del recipiente en un 10 rotundo, combina con todo el set de cafetería que tengo: molino, hervidor, equipos. 2. Pesado de la cantidad de granos de café rápida, olvídate de usar un recipiente + balanza y luego tararla. Ahora la balanza la uso directamente para determinar la masa de la cantidad de agua que vierto de acuerdo al método usado y así, tener mejor control del ratio. 2. Uso sencillo, fácil de manipular. 3. Capacidad ideal para preprar café en todos los métodos siendo preferentemente proporciones para 1 a 2 personas (35 g máximo aproximadamente de capacidad) 4. Batería recargable con entrada USB-C. 5. No tiene problemas cuando atomizo agua sobre los granos de café, es completamente seguro para el equipo. Contras: 1. Desafortunadamente, el display sólo funciona aproximadamente por menos de 1 min, así que si tardas en realizar el preparado, el equipo entrará en reposo automáticamente y tendrás que volver a encenderlo y la lectura se pierde. 2. El botón está en una zona sensible, es decir, un sitio donde siempre uno suele tomar el recipiente y sino tiene uno ciudado, puede reiniciar el dispositivo 3. No debes lavarlo debajo del chorro de agua, simplemente puedes pasarle una esponja en el interior, enjuagar y secar inmediatamente para preservar y alargar la vida útil del equipo. En general, le doy una calificación de 8.5/10
