Shut-off the unit and then replace the internal 9V battery. Then you can turn the unit back on and the indicator should go away. With the STI-6402 there will be (1) reed on board wired into the RS1 for the second door you will attach the additional reed in the hardware pack into the RS2. Each door will need to have the extra magnet along side each reed (wired magnet) and when they separate it goes into alarm.
