Solid, high-fidelity cast replica of a TLR-7-series light!
Great for making a modular mold buck with/without my newest light. The TLR-7 blank slides on/off a pic rail easily enough, but holds fairly tight. Obviously well-cast, with accurate dimensions, and has all the details I need for heat-forming a new holster or modifying my existing one(s). I also appreciate that it's made in a solid-orange resin, representing "non-functioning" status without any confusion.

Works as it should. Size is life size

Not too bad
This mold is pretty close to the real thing and it serves its purpose well. Mine did require a little bit of cleanup with a small file in order to fit onto the rail but it certainly wasn’t an issue to take care of. Shipping was really fast too. TLDR; not bad, I’d buy it again

Very useful Tool
I make custom gun holsters and use these plastic replicas to mold the leather. This prevents me from having to use the customer’s actual pistol. This one was dead on perfect!!

Nearly perfectly modeled. Perfect companion to the Mantis TitanX.
This is a near perfect inert plastic model of the Surefire X300U-A. Right down to including lettering. The small voids and bits of flushing and other minor areas where it isn't an exact copy are inconsequential to function. Exactly what you would expect from the standard in holster making tools. American Safety Props' parent company is behind Holstersmith after all. The A model Surefire X300U is the quick detach version and comes with two swappable mounting solutions, one for Glock, the other for picatinny rails. The Glock hardware is what comes pre-installed. This inert copy is modeled with the Glock mount. It absolutely will slide on and lock into a Glock rail. But it's a tight fit and it does take a little bit of finesse to take it off the rail because there is no spring release system. I had no problems with using the prop and Glock combo with any of my holsters. Including a wide range of concealment holsters and my overt holsters like Safariland. Noting that the fit was slightly looser than it would be with the real X300U-A, because you don't have that upward spring tension of the mounting hardware. One of the secondary functions of this prop is used as a training tool, and for me, that's where it really shines. Because It's a really good fit on inert training pistols. I've been using it on the recently released Mantis TitanX laser training pistol. The Mantis version of the Glock rail is little more generously cut and allows for easier removal while still staying staying in place during use, I have rubber washer underneath it to prevent it from wobbling. In this configuration it's a tighter fit (with and without the washer) with my holsters because of the TitanX mounting rail isn't an exact copy to Glock's. I've been incredibly happy with it in that role and use it everyday. I will note that this isn't a weighted prop. According to my scale it comes out to 2.29oz. My X300U-A with batteries installed is 4.14oz, without batteries it's 2.99oz. But the lighter weight makes no meaningful difference for holster making, and in my opinion it is still perfectly fine for a inert trainer. Additionally if you do want to weigh it, you can always drill and add in your own steel weights. Overall this is proven to be an invaluable tool and I've been really glad to have it. I've been really impressed with the amount of options offered and when I finally switch to a different WML, I'll also get the American Safety Props equivalent. It's a bargain and an invaluable training tool to use with the MantisX system.
