Educational Science Hornworm (Manduca sexta) Small Worms, One HUT (15-20/HUT), HFP32

Great seller. Product comes well protected and in my two separate orders I've placed, out of 30-50 total worms shipped, I've only lost 3-4 to death in the early stage right after arriving and the vast majority are robust, strong, healthy eaters that grow fast. I have 1 bearded dragon and have actually figured out it's best for me to order 2 containers at a time, every other week due to timing and growth cycles of worms and supply needs for our bearded dragon.

Although there is alot of food in this container for them to grow large, mine only came with 8 live worms and several shriveled dead tiny worms. However, I understand this can happen and contacted the seller who advised me they will make it right for me.Pros, lots of food for the to grow to adult stage.Cons, you got to wait for them to grow. Its torture on my bearded dragon as she drools form them!

I liked the packaging. It came in a box and the worms were inside a clear bowl with holes and a lid. However, when I opened the box I found my order of mealworms ( purchased separately in a cloth bag ) and the blue worms were not moving. I poked each of them and still no movement. They arrived dead. I contacted seller via phone and left a message with no return call, I decided to leave this review. I'm not sure if they shipped me dead worms or if the temperature outside was just too cold. Either way, my bearded dragon didn't eat them.I left two stars because they did look big and fat and they were package better than I expected.

Although I received worms with plenty of food, they were quite large, and some were dying. I'm not sure why they were dying but I only was able to feed about 6 total worms. It seemed to me as if they were past maturity. In the past I have received containers with an abundance of worms and of course a few died.

I just received these today and have done this before with my daycare kids a few years back. The only flaw in design that I see is that there is no air available to the little critters so I took a very small phillips head screwdriver from my mini-kit and heated the metal end with a long handled lighter and melted about 20 holes through the plastic. If you do this, have an adult do it. The metal only stays hot enough for 3 to 4 gentle pushes, do not force the screwdriver through the plastic as it will crack the container.Also keep the holes in the part of the container that is not near the food. Other than that, yes, there were a few dead ones upon arrival but that is to be expected.

I took a shot in the dark with these and they were amazing. These are the only horn worms I have gotten to pupate because these are so harty and healthy! Planning on buying more in the future!!!

These were smaller when they came which is great since they grow so fast. That game me time to feed all to my bearded dragon with no waste. The larger ones my sugar glider eats. All were alive and accounted for with plenty of food.

Sturdy container with 20 or so worms. Lots of food and climbing mesh. All alive and healthy. Shipping was fast and boxed well. Izzy loves to eat them.
