I’ve been using NOW Foods Supplements, Probiotics daily and I’m really happy with it. I chose it because it’s 100 billion CFU, which felt like a solid, high-strength option. The capsules are easy to swallow and it’s been gentle for me. It’s now a staple in my routine and I plan to keep buying it.

This is the best price I've been able to find for a 100 billion cfu probiotic. I've been using this product, in combination with this company's saccharomyces boulardii probiotic, for approximately 3 months. The pairing up of the 2 is a strategy that's working very well for my digestive issues. I've been taking 2 capsules of the s. boulardii at least 30 minutes before breakfast (the s. boulardii should be taken on an empty stomach), and a capsule of the 100 billion cfu product with my breakfast. I've been taking probiotic supplements for the past 15 years, and I have tried many, many brands. A few brands have worked well for me, while many other brands have not, and Now's probiotics are excellent and for the price you simply can't beat it. Don't worry about the product not being refrigerated upon arrival, it will maintain it's potency. Just be sure to refrigerate it once it arrives, and, most importantly, keep it refrigerated once you've opened the bottle.

I ordered this from Amazon this time instead of our pharmacy. It was much cheaper. I wonder how long these are still good not being refrigerated. The container was sealed under the cap but it came without any wrapping. Still it was about half the price that I usually pay. Should come wrapped though.

My stomach has been feeling better since starting these probiotics several months ago. Plus, I decided to try making yogurt with these and added the contents of 2 capsules to a 1/2 gallon container of 2% milk in my Instant Pot. For those of you who don't know, the whole sterilization process that's recommended for yogurt-making in an Instant Pot is not necessary if you start with ultra-pasteurized milk. That's the key. It has already gone through the sterilization process. All you need to do is either run your Instant Pot liner and a whisk through the dishwasher or pour boiling water over clean items and dry with paper towels to make sure everything is sterile so you won't grow any nasty bacteria. Then pour in your ultra-pasteurized milk, whisk in 2 to 3 of these capsules and set the pot for an 8-hour yogurt cycle. I like to strain my yogurt afterward to make greek yogurt. I just tried this process using 2 capsules added to my milk (no other yogurt starter was used) and the yogurt tasted great! I will say it was maybe a slight bit runnier than my usual batch, so next time I might put in a 3rd capsule and see what happens. But I figure the resulting yogurt has more probiotics than commercial yogurt, as those typically contain only 2 to 6 different strains. I like the idea of making my own yogurt with 10 strains of probiotics. Now that I've got some made, my very next batch will just use a couple of heaping spoons of my current yogurt and I'll keep that going for awhile. When I feel it's time to start completely over, I'll try the idea of 3 capsules instead of 2.
