I’ve bleached sections of my hair too many times, and the fun colours I dye it with haven’t been sticking for more than a single wash. The overprocessed parts had turned sad and so dry I was considering whether I really ought to cut them (nooo I’m still growing it out!) Enter this Amino Bond Repair mask. After just two sessions, those bleached sections are already behaving more like normal hair - softer, silkier, more hydrated, and noticeably less straw like and tragic. I use it in place of conditioner, leave it on for 5 to 10 minutes, then rinse thoroughly. By the second use (2–3 days apart), the slip stayed even after a very good rinse. Air-drying felt nice, but the real magic showed the next morning - the bleached pieces felt much closer in texture to my healthy hair. What I really appreciate is that the formula is effective without heavy proteins or harsh ingredients. It doesn’t make healthy hair brittle or overloaded. It just reinforces damaged parts and leaves the rest alone. Bonus is this $1.99 packet easily gives 3 or 4 uses. I’ve done two generous applications and still have half a packet left. I’ll keep using this for 2 or 3 more weeks and hopefully my dyes will stick like they used to. Definitely a product I’ll be keeping on hand for use after future bleaching sessions. Hair profile: fine/medium, past shoulder length, straight with a wave at the ends, low porosity and picky about products; half virgin/half over-processed; tangle prone; sleep in a silk bonnet.

Works great to control frizz. Although, once opened, it has to be transfered to box for next uses. It can easily be used multiple times. Definitely more than twice.

This was my first time using this product but I have used Palmer's skin products before and love them so I thought I would try it. I have very fine, thin hair so typically deep conditioners are either too heavy for my hair or if they promise to to be good for fine thin hair and add volume they dry it out. This conditioner did neither. I absolutely love it! It has a wonderful, light coconut smell. It's a nice thick consistency and is easy to apply. I shampooed my hair as usual and applied it right to my towel dried, damp hair. Ten minutes later I had soft, shiny, bouncy, nice smelling hair! The package is large enough that I can easily get 2 applications out of it. The cost is very reasonable especially when I am used to spending $40-60 on other products that I am often disappointed with. I color my hair and am over 50 so it tends to get that dry frizziness. After using this conditioner my hair was smooth and no longer dry. Great product from Palmer's as usual!

Great for Dry & Frizzy Hair Palmer’s Amino Bonding Complex Hair Mask leaves my hair noticeably softer, smoother, and easier to manage after each use. It helps reduce frizz, adds shine, and provides good moisture without making hair feel heavy. I also like that it offers some heat protection and seems to reduce breakage over time. The scent is a bit strong, but the results make it worth it. Great deep conditioning treatment for dry or damaged hair.
