Delighted with this cake turner. Excellent quality, very sturdy and easy to use. Made a great difference icing a cake. I bought this one after another review recommended it over a cheaper model. Can't comment on the cheaper one, but glad I bought this one.

I really like this cake turner and it has definitely improved my cake frosting process. The two height adjustment also helps as it reduces the height if I need to put it in the fridge for a bit.

However did I manage before absolutely fantastic use high or lower or lock in position so easy to turn when icing or buttercream cakes and has none slip feet Quality is very good definitely recommend buying

I didn’t buy this stand for cake decorating I bought it for working on my bonsai trees, but the things that make this stand great apply to either activity. First, this stand can handle weight really well without skipping a beat. It works the same whether I’m working on my 1 pound bonsai or my 40+ pound bonsai. Second, it rotates very smooth but has just enough resistance that it won’t just spin when you make the gentlest of touches when trying to do delicate detail work. The locking mechanism is very handy when you have to apply more force and need it to not spin, and it is simple to lock and unlock. Third, the stand is very sturdy even if the weight is shifted drastically to one point on the edge. The wide base prevents toppling and the rubber feet and rubber ring on the platform keeps anything from slipping. Fourth, the stand easily adjust between its 2 heights by just folding and unfolding the feet. When the feet are out the base becomes wider so that the when the stand is taller it maintains the same level of sturdiness. Finally, the stand top can be easily removed for cleaning purposes. I’m very pleased with this stand and would recommend it to anyone.

Lo que nadie te dice sobre una base giratoria para decorar pasteles es que lo principal es que debe girar suavemente para que puedas dar un acabado liso cuando aplicas la cobertura del pastel sin saltos o topes que dejen marcas. Esta gira muy suavecito. Esta base no es la mas barata y la misma marca tiene una un modelo mas austero y barato pero se me hace que esta es la que mas te da por el precio que pagas. La altura es buena y si necesitas mas se pueden sacar las “patas” para aumentar unos centímetros. Tiene gomas que evitan que se mueva o que se resbale en la cubierta o la mesa y tiene un seguro si es que requieres que no se mueva. Lo que pongas en la superficie tampoco se mueve porque tiene las mimas gomas que detienen el plato o la base del pastel. El material está bien, es plástico de buena calidad y no veo por donde pueda fallar. Casi todo lo de la marca es bueno pero probablemente vale la pena no comprar el modelo austero y para un usuario normal no vale la pena el modelo mas caro.
