Great materials. My daughter used this book and did 2/3 of practices in the book and got used to the test and score over 30. All answers got explanations. Very helpful.

The tests in this book are challenging and the readings for the English section are all more difficult. However, the challenge helped prepared our kids for tests that would have difficult sections. We talked with them about strategies for these difficult passages and sections to help prepare them further for the test. Worth it if yuh are looking to a range of test exposure.

Good practice tests for ACT

Great book- comprehensive explanations and practice tests

While I appreciate the sheer volume of practice tests and similarity of the questions to the real ACT, the main issue here is the formatting. On real ACTs, passages for the reading test always start on a left-side page, and the questions always appear on the corresponding right-side page. When taking the test, this lets people see both the passage and the questions at the same time. However, Kaplan can't seem to get this right. In both this book and their full test prep book, they start passages and questions wherever they will fit, meaning that the test-taker has to flip back and forth between pages. This is also a problem with the science tests, where test-takers should be able to see the data and the questions on facing pages, as well. This seems like a huge oversight that could be easily corrected.

Disappointed!!!English test: When you go to Answer and Explanation it doesn’t correspond to the Passage 1. I completed passage 1 about Urban legends and explanation talk about Hollywood screenwriter...No related at all..
