When you hold it with your hand the thin edges assures that the phone won’t slip and provides sufficient protection.There is one issue, however, and that is the volume buttons cover. With some other cases you can locate the + - bottoms by just looking at them when you are facing your phone screen but with this one you can’t. Also, when trying to distinguish between the two buttons with your index or thumb the grooves on the buttons and the small gap between the buttons make them feel as one long button.
