Best tasting P B Cup
Justin’s is hands down one of the best tasting dark chocolate peanut butter cups on the market, in my opinion. I first purchased this product at my favorite health food store in Rolla Mo. Foods for Health, first time ever to find a Organic peanut butter cup and dark chocolate to boot. I’ve been hooked since then, now to save money I’ve purchased them off Amazon but only during the winter months since we live in southern Mo. (That’s probably the one star ratings) We’ve tried to order before the weather has turned but some companies refused to ship. So bottom line is that you can have organic sourced candy and it will taste just like the name brands. I’m a type 2 diabetic so Justin dark chocolate peanut butter cups are my special treat once a week and one cup at a time. They are so very creamy so very dark and full of good flavor, not overly sweet but a wonderful balance of cocoa, peanut, and sugars. They have the ability to take you into a moment while it’s melting in your mouth. The flavors are that good you can relax close your eyes and enjoy.

A rip-off and a joke
I decided to try these because I really like Reese's pb cups and wanted to believe the positive things I've read about these. I learned a hard and expensive lesson: 1) these were some of the worst candy I've ever had and 2) don't ever buy food from Amazon again--usually is old and/or in bad condition.Justin's pb cups (I got the dark choc):1) The first thing I noticed was the choc was two different shades of brown, as if it'd not been blended thoroughly. It tasted nothing like any chocolate I've ever had--in any price range. It was a foul taste. As I kept trying them, hoping I'd find some that were better, I noticed a white cast on parts of the chocolate, which could have been where the darker chocolate was. If it was bloom, which is what it looked like, it wasn't immediately noticeable.2) The pb filling might have tasted okay but really couldn't tell. The cups are small and narrow, The filling was a tiny amount, surrounded by the choc, which is probably why they tasted so bad. THIS CHOCOLATE WAS BAD, in many categories if I was rating it. If I was doing a blind taste test, I don't think I would have known it was chocolate. Probably the taste that stood out the most was that it was sour. I've had a lot of chocolate w/ bloom because I live where it's cold part of the year. The bloom has never affected the taste of what I was eating.3) A complete waste of a lot of money. I figured that pb cups that cost so much would be good. I didn't return them to Amazon because after going through the entire box (why didn't I just buy one :() and breaking them apart and tasting parts and trying to dig out the filling, I thought Amazon would not appreciate getting a box of candy that was fingerprint-marked odds and ends. The fingerprints were an indication of the greasy taste and look of these things.4) This candy seems like a good example of high-priced items that are a rip-off and most people don't want to admit to it. The Emperor is wearing no clothes. That's what I feel about this candy and therefore the whole company. I'll go back to Reese's. Sugar is sugar and if I'm going to indulge, I'd rather have it be a decent product.

Stale, Not fresh!
The expiration date sticker says 6/25/2026 but these are dried out. The inside does not taste or resemble peanut butter. All have the taste and texture of chalk. Very disappointing.

Inconsistent quality
I've been eating these for probably 10 years or close to it. When I get a good batch, they're amazing with creamy peanut butter. However, in recent years, I'm more likely to get batches with dry peanut butter filling, caked powder with no moisture. It's bizarre that the filling is so inconsistent, and I don't understand how Justin's doesn't fix it. My most recent order has been really dry, so disappointing.
