Equus 8200 2" Volt Triple Gauge Kit

Nice gauges. I tested the temperature gauge by putting it in hot water and bringing it to a boil. I installed it and checked it with a temperature tool. It was spot on accurate. I didn’t use the tubing that came with the set. I bought copper tubing. I had a small leak.Then I used the Teflon tape that was included to wrap the gauge threads. Leak stopped. I would recommend the gauges. I didn’t use the covers to change the bulb colors. I think the color covers would make the gauges a little too dark.

Change out bulbs for led, paint gauges backside Black..

Put these on my 88 mustang, the install is easy, but the temp sending wire could be a bit longer, and the red blue and green covers to put over the light bulbs aren't worth using. The clear bulb that comes with them is not too blinding at all, The gauges are accurate and they do work as they should. I would purchase these for another vehicle if I have the need.

these gauges are great from equus...they are so easy to mount in the supplied bracket thanks to the screw on caps instaed of the bolt on brackets....I have bought several of these....great look and performance for a great price...great for older cars and trucks to give you and updated loo at your engines performance

I've tried electronic gauges and they never read accurately. These are purely mechanical (except the voltmeter of course) so they are 100% accurate. The large white face gauges are also easy to read at a glance, very important when driving! Order good quality copper oil pressure line to use as these come with dangerous plastic line that can melt and start a fire by spraying oil on your hot exhaust!

these look great have the old school look only thing I bought the copper tubing instead of using the plastic line that came with the gages just being on the safe side

Backlight is horrible. I used the blue caps to make back light blue, its a more green in real life. My camera tried to correct the photo, The gauge face is uneven dark modeling on the bottom of all 3 gauges, the amount of light on the face is about useless at night, I think my photo is way generous on the looks. Not happy with face light at night. No issues with the funtions so far, but about usless unless I can see them.
