Most likely not what your looking for.

*by S***L on Reviewed in the United States on June 13, 2019*

Edit: As I mentioned in my review below the rubberized material on mine was coming off of my earbuds because of probably a lack of adhesive. It's gotten far worse on the left earbud to the point that it is unable to sit in the charging case and charge. The case relies on the exact shape of the earbud to not change and since mine doesn't rest in there correctly anymore it is completely unable to charge. Essentially my really expensive hearing amplification earbuds are bricked unless I get creative with a exacto knife and some glue to re-apply some of the rubber material to it so it can rest in there correctly. I don't think it's worth it in my case to bother with a repair when I can just buy something 450 dollars cheaper to use as music listening earbuds instead.Due to multiple sets of surgery to remove infections in my childhood I have a bit of scar tissue over my eardrums making hearing people occasionally difficult. Looking for a less expensive option than full blown hearing aids I gave these a attempt. Unfortunately, these aren't at all useful for me for various reasons. If you want to use these in a location where there are hood vents, moving air, you are moving around at all, you are outdoors, sounds of ovens or machinery, etc then look elsewhere. When these pick up loud sounds they duck the audio to keep you safe from the loud noises - except it's far too sensitive to specific kinds of noises (the ones listed above) for you to reliably count on these to actually amplify someone's voice for you to hear. I work in a grocery store deli and I have to contend with a rotisserie oven, hood vents, refrigeration, light overhead music, checkout noises, a steam table, and moving air from the stores HVAC. All while listening for the quietest old people customers that can't believe a person in their 20s can't hear them whispering that they need honey ham.The HVAC cause the voice amplification to stop, the rotisserie oven causes voice amplification to stop, when I walk from one spot to the next the air moving across the buds causes the amplification to stop, being anywhere near the fryer/steamer/hood vents causes the amplification to stop. It's basically unusable to use these in my work environment, it's telling that they weren't designed to work in medium to high intensity work environments at all because the 'work' setting is called 'office'.That being said, these have worked fine for me the two times I went to the library since I bought these a couple months ago. So they do work if you are a pencil pusher in a really quiet environment I guess. As for fit and comfort, these are the only IEMs that I've ever worn that I have a really hard time getting a nice isolating fit with. The right ear goes in fine with the largest round but the left ear is always a struggle for me, I've used every tip and the closest fit is the largest oval. I think this is because the large rounds are only about medium sized compared to other IEMs I've used. Normally I'd just grab the eartips from my Klipsch S4 which I've been using for over 6 years on various headphones... But for reasons I can't understand the IQbuds use oval stems meaning that traditional ear tips are incompatible. I really can't understand this choice since even looking at the official Comply eartip chart the IQbuds fall into their own special boy catagory, how did a small Australian company convince Comply that making a custom product just for them would sell enough to cover manufacturing.. Doesn't make sense at all.As for the build quality, the soft rubberized plastic inner coating on mine started to peel away from the harder plastic shell after just one week, so that means I can't use them in humid or wet environments so I can't even wear them waiting for the bus if it's even misting out. The hard charging case creaks and groans when handled but otherwise seems fine. Although it's hard to get it to charge the buds without open/adjusting/closing over and over till it detects both buds in perfect position. As for sound quality, it's okay but no where near even the $40 wired Sony set I've been using prior to these. No way to adjust bass or any EQ settings since they seem to have volume control software of their own preventing the sound from getting too loud - if you turn any bass boosting on it just lowers the volume of everything else to keep it equal. Not sure if this is a problem with all Bluetooth headphones but it was repeatable across four different phones and even my PC.Connection quality with the phone is odd, some days it works perfectly while others it skips dozens of times a minute and even an arm between the phone and the left earbud cuts everything. They are super susceptible to EMI, the electric busses my town uses causes the right ear to stop, and a flickering light at the gas station near my house also turns them off completely.Overall, the only person I'd suggest this to is a office(no AC, no fan, no moving air, stationary work environment etc) worker with moderate hearing issues. It's a pretty bad waste of money in every other situation. If you want earbuds that pass through audio just get the Samsung buds since they blow these out of the water. Google is eventually bringing their hearing assist to normal wireless buds (already used the wired version with a dedicated clip on mic on my work uniform and the software is a lot better than these.

    Works great!

*by S***E on Reviewed in the United States on November 2, 2019*

I like it mostly for watching TV, listening to music or phone or iPad, and movies. It cuts out so much of the background noise, it really helps. At work I have noisy refrigerators running that makes it hard to hear for me and it cuts all that noise out. Great product, especially if you are use to ear buds.

Too big, too bulky, not professional looking

*by B***N on Reviewed in the United States on January 2, 2019*

They're simply too bulky, these are big and stick out no matter which way you angle them. Everyone seems to have small buds whether wireless or with wires, these are big buds and I just can't get passed this issue. They also are black, big black buds that stick out, it's not a good luck and it's not comfortable to wear them for more than an hour. I have to constantly take them out, they just feel way too bulky in the ear.I give them two stars because the technology is pretty off the charts, you can turn the world on or off with bluetooth on or off, I find this to be really high tech. I can turn the world on and continue to hear my music while also hear everything else that is going on in the room, or I can turn the world off and only listen to my music, pretty sick technology. I also like the app, you can turn the volume up or down with the app in the hear more world setting, you can also change the hearing setting to be office, home, driving, etc... the app is very user friendly and works well with the buds.Lastly, while sitting the bluetooth works no problem, even walking inside the bluetooth is fine. Walking outdoors though is a huge issue, bluetooth outdoors is spotty, music cuts in and out, i have to hold my phone stationary in the air outside of my pocket so that the bluetooth connection is consistent and not in and out. Also, walking outdoors is just a pain with these, the second the wind hits the buds the world turns off. Once the wind goes away the world turns on, so basically there is no way to have a conversation with these buds outside, unless you are maybe under a roof with no wind at all, but if your doing something active outside, you will have issues with hearing the world around you. Now when I take walks outside I just go head and turn the world off and listen to my music, of course while holding my phone stationary in the air (annoying). My conclusion is, these buds are not worth it. They are too big, too bulky, they are not professional looking so go ahead and scratch off the idea of wearing them at work. They dont look good. Or modern, so even hanging with friends or family, it looks weird that they are so bulky. The technology is great, app is great, best time to use these is an hour of alone time with work to do and want to listen to music or radio on and off. If they made a much slimmer professional looking version of these (with better outdoor handling and better bluetooth outdoor) then I could see those being worth the price tag.
