Curt Manufacturing 13199 Class III Receiver

This hitch is great, at a bit lower price than other brands. Most importantly, the holes lined up +/- 1/16" with my existing frame mounts, which made everything simple. The included bolts, washers, and instructions were done well enough to ensure proper installation. Installation: All you'll need is a decent socket wrench and some slip-joint pliers (large). See that rusty, ugly ball sticking out of your bumper? Use it to practice shot put, or take up a hobby playing extreme baseball. Toss it. You'll never need it again. (You have to remove it to install the receiver) Next, get under your truck, line it all up, and hand-thread the bolts into the existing holes. You may encounter a little resistance, so spray the holes with some WD-40 about 10 min prior to installing. An assistant helps. Then, grab your socket and go to work. It's done! (6 bolts / 15 - 20 min with no snags) Issues: I have an aftermarket true dual exhaust, so the hangers for the pipe on the driver side got in the way. However, it's a beefy hanger, so it's nothing a jigsaw with a metal blade and some careful planning couldn't fix. Popping the exhaust hangers off will help with fitting it in to align it all, then put it all back in the same holes. Well made item, solid welding, and perfect fitment... Now it's really a truck.

This hitch replaced the OEM 2005 Nissan Titan hitch. Excellent quality and fit. Removed old hitch before this one arrived. Used existing OEM bolts but could have used those supplied. Had it on by myself in 15 minutes. Excellent !

Super easy install, came with all needed hardware, and instructions even include the torque specs. Tucks up right under the bumper for low profile. 10/10

The hitch fit perfect and took only 10 minutes to install. One word of caution: just because you can load it on the trailer doesn't mean you should. This hitch will allow you to pull 10,000 lbs if your truck can do it. The picture show 123 bales of 70 - 75 lb bales of hay. Let's just say my calculations were a bit off on the overall weight but the hitch was fine, my transmission is another story. Guess I can now convince the wife I need a bigger truck.

Easy install & works great

I like the way it looks. But the holes don't all line up. I was only able to get 4 out of 6 bolts to install. Have to drill 2 holes bigger.

I ordered this hitch for my Nissan Titan and tried installing it with no success, The alignment is totally off by around 25 mm. Take a close look at my pictures. You can see the frame of the hitch braket is tight against the frame but the bolt placement is totally off by at least an inch. As per pictures you can see that this is very poorly manufactured. For those of you that are thinking I did something wrong, I have been a licensed mechanic since 1978. I phoned the 1-800 number on the installation paper and it was not a working number. These bumpers are "take offs of the Curt Brand". I ended up buying a new hitch at a shop and had to pay $70 more but it fit perfectly. A person should not have to drill new holes because it's 25mm out of line. Never Again will I order a hitch on-line. Don't be fooled by the Curt Sticker take off. Save your money because returns are next to impossible.
