I love DeWalt batteries in general -- I have several, some of which are probably at least 10 years old, and in my experience they are basically unkillable. I got this battery primarily for powering the cordless circular saw I (finally) got -- a saw will drain a 2 or 4 Ah battery pretty quickly, with any kind of heavier use.The one "con" so far is that the battery is a Reel Big Boi, for sure -- significantly larger than a standard 5 Ah battery, for example. You probably don't want this hanging off your drill, driver, or palm sander, unless absolutely necessary. I was a little apprehensive about making the order because there are so many counterfeits out there, but this is an OEM battery, and the 8 Amp Hour batteries are great for a full day of runtime on my Dewalt circular saw, and I usually get 6-7 hours on the high setting on my Dewalt job site fan.
