What I was looking for!
These indexed notebooks are exactly what I was looking for. Excellent quality - cover is nice and thick and the paper is nice as well. Doesn’t look like it will fall apart.

Not for fountain pens!
My search for an alphabetical tab notebook that is fountain pen friendly continues. This is getting costly 😐 Good: You get a nice WIDE line if you like that Only bleeds on very wet/wide pens Only feathers a little on very wet strokes Actually Manyo Haha ink showed quite nicely - but it’s an exception Bad: Shows little shading - too quick to absorb Shows no sheen - same reason Colours look darker also due to absorption I’m sure it’s a useful book for some. It seems pretty good quality for the cost. But not for showing off properties of inks which is what I want it for.

past terrible
Do not bother for a gift. It is terrible. It's ugly and when it arrives it already looks worn. The inside is ok, but the outside looks used. Also, THERE IS NOT WAY TO GET THE STICKER OFF THE FRONT. It is huge, so no one wants to see that. I tried to remove and it ruined the book. Had to throw away.

Great indexed notebook
The A5 is a really great size to use as an address book or password notebook.

Came with a wet spot and the book corners bent in :/
It did come earlier than expected and I do really like the size and the blank pages... but the packaging wasn't very protective and one of the corners of the packaging ripped at some point in the mail. That let some water in on a small section of the book, it's not ruined but it could've been. Also the hard book cover had the corners bent in, its not that bad but I wish it looked like it was a nice new book with sharp corners. I'm still somewhat happy with this purchase though, because it works well as an address book, and I like the alphabetical tabs, although they are a tiny bit hard to flip to because they're pretty small. Also I didn't try peeling off the sticker label on the cover because other reviews said it would ruin the cover. Overall, its okay, I got what I needed.
