Seems promising but hard to measure results so far
I’ve been taking ProHealth Pure NMNH 125 mg for a few weeks now, and overall I’m cautiously optimistic. The capsules are easy to swallow, there’s no strong smell or aftertaste, and I appreciate that the ingredients appear clean and straightforward. I also like that it only requires one capsule per day, which makes it simple to add into my routine. In terms of results, it’s a little harder to evaluate. I think I’m noticing a slight increase in energy and mental clarity, but it’s not a dramatic change. Since supplements like this often work gradually or at a cellular level, it’s difficult to confidently say how much of a difference it’s making yet. I also wish the company provided more detailed guidance on what to expect, how long before noticeable benefits, or whether it’s best taken with food or at a specific time of day. That said, I like the brand’s reputation and the science behind NMNH, so I plan to keep taking it and see how things progress over time. If you’re someone who is comfortable trying longevity or cellular-health supplements and understands that results may vary, this could be worth considering—just don’t expect instant, obvious effects.

Science-Based, Clinically Support Supplement to Promote Anti-Aging and Longevity
NMNH, or nicotinamide mononucleotide hydrogen, is the reduced form of NMN, and is known for its ability to raise NAD+ levels even more rapidly. NAD+ is a universal coenzyme that plays vital roles in nearly all living organisms. It plays a role in various biological processes including metabolism, cell signaling, gene regulation, and DNA repair. Compared to NMN, NMNH is thought to have a faster and stronger impact on cellular health. Because NMNH has better absorption, it results in a faster, more effective increase in NAD+ levels, improving overall health and potentially, a more biologically youthful state. As we age, our NAD+ level declines significantly, driving the aging process. Maintaining or increasing healthy NAD+ levels can improve health. Some of the benefits are combating age related memory loss, increasing strength and endurance and promoting longevity. Since it’s closely related to the well-researched MNM, NMNH is thought to be safe, however research on it is in the early stages. In fact, ProHealth suggests, as stated on the bottle, that their NMNH supplement is “for use by healthy adults only.” On the other hand, ProHealth states that “We utilize UthPeak NMNH, a first-to-market NMNH with clinically supported safety and efficacy.” In addition, they have a patent pending on it and are doing preclinical and clinical studies to validate its effectiveness. Discerning the often times subtle effects of a supplement whose ingredients are naturally derived can be a challenge in self-awareness, and more often than not, may take a period of time before the user even becomes aware that the benefits have been realized. Even then, it may only amount to a dawning realization that there’s been a positive change. As an adherent of natural medicinal and nutritional methods, I concluded some time ago that of most importance when choosing a supplement is trust in the maker/seller. First and foremost, I look for transparency. My point is that as a consumer, I have no way of challenging or verifying the veracity of a seller’s claims or any way to substantiate the quality of the ingredients. For those reasons I consider ProHealth a trusted seller; I've also used a number of their supplements. ProHealth states that all of their products are manufactured in FDA and GMP facilities and that every batch is third-party tested for quality, purity and potency. To back up their statement, they provide a Certificate of Analysis. In addition, they use a science-based approach to the development of their products.

A potentially more potent and effective supplement to boost NAD+
At first glance, you might think that this NMNH supplement is inferior to the others as it is only 125mg while many others are 500mg, but this supplement from ProHealth uses UthPeak NMNH. Apparently this form of NMNH is more effective at boosting NAD+ levels and doing so for longer. According to the UthPeak website, this crystalline, reduced NMN form is potentially more potent with both preclinical and phase 1 clinical trials showing improvements in NAD+ levels. According to the research, there was a substantial reduction in observed biological age and patients reported increased energy levels and reduced fatigue. While I cannot comment on the former (biological age), I can at least comment on the latter, which are more observable affects. I may have noticed a slight increase in energy and a slight decrease in fatigue, but I would almost say that this is in the margin of error. It is hard to say for sure, but I would say that after a long and stressful day, I didn’t feel quite as worn out or tired. The supplement, like most others, comes as a white powder in a relatively small cellulose capsule. The capsules are plenty easy to swallow, especially since the serving size is a single capsule. The capsules are stored in a semitransparent dark gray plastic bottle with a screw on lid. Given that some light can make it through the bottle, it would be good to store them this supplement in a dark place to protect it from light. There are 60 capsules in a bottle, which amounts to roughly two month’s supply. I would presume manufacturing UthPeak NMNH is a bit expensive given the cost of this supplement, and I would like to think that in time the process will become more affordable, so for the moment I would consider this supplement to be on the more expensive side and maybe not be considered a good value for some.
