Unfortunately, you are not able to use a heated humidifier in this safe. You may also purchase additional shelves for it, you just need to specify at the time of order you would like to purchase more. Cayla

Can it be used in a garage?

Still have it in the garage because the one who deliver does not have any equipment to put it four steps up to my house still waiting on another company to bring it inside the house I tried to use it in the garage and it seems working OK

Is this safe water proof

This safe is not waterproof but in the event of a fire, it will seal enough to keep the water from entering caused by extinguishing the fire. It will not be waterproof if submerged under water. Keith
