Smooth Instant Coffee Eco Refill 150 g (Pack of 6) Review: Coffee bag split and coffee all over the inside of the box, very disappointing. Review: My preferred coffee for every day instant and reasonable value. Not necessarily as cheap as you will sometimes see in a supermarket but coffee seems to be one of the supermarkets favourite to fluctuate a lot to show “savings” so buying in bulk flattened that out and on balance makes it even. Great taste, Kenco always consistent and a middle of the road flavour perfect for every day.

This is the only coffee blend i enjoy. I’ve tried others but being as I’m not a hard core coffee fan (don’t do bitter, strong coffee), then this is a nice blend. I’ve found lots of coffees have a metallic taste and makes me have a nasty after taste for hours after, but with kenco smooth I’m pleased to report that doesn’t happen. It’s enjoyable and doesn’t make my mouth taste weird. I used to buy these refills as they were ideal for taking places with me. I took them to work, on holiday etc but I’m knocking a star off because recently they’ve suddenly gone up in price and now it’s not cost effective. For saying the idea is to cut down on waste, it comes to something when I can buy the glass jar product far cheaper than the refills. I’ve now switched to a different packaging but would happily purchase these refills again if the prices went back to their previous price and made it cost effective again. Until then - sorry, but I’ll be buying it in another packaging.
