great book all-in-all both art and story... couldn't put it down... read in one go story: 10/10 art: 10/10

Eine wunderschön gezeichnete cozy Whodunit Story. Man wird direkt reingezogen nach Woodbrook, erlebt den ruhigen Alltagstrott der Bewohner und zumindest ich, würde gern direkt dahin ziehen. Vielleicht lieber erst nachdem alles vorbei ist , aber ansonsten gern ^^ Ich will nicht zu viel auf die Story eingehen, aber die bekannte und freundliche Bärin Sam ist nicht komplett ehrlich zu den Bewohnern. Sie ist nicht immer so gelassen. Als dann auch noch ein Mord bei einer Parade geschieht, will sie helfen diesen aufzuklären. Ich liebe wie schon beschrieben den Art style, die Zeichnungen sind Wunderschön und es ist unheimlich gut geschrieben. Die einzelnen Kapitel haben eine solche Sogwirkung, das ich es nicht weglegen konnte. Ich freue mich jetzt hart auf 'Rite of Spring', was ich demnächst lese und 'The Summer and the Fall' welches im Februar 2027 erst als Heftserie erscheint und die ich schon auf der Pull List habe ^^ Nur eines finde ich irgendwie seltsam. Es sind alles Anthropomorphe Tiere, haben aber zb. Haustiere und in der Fleischerei gibt es auch ... Fleisch halt ^^ Fazit: Für alle die etwas mit Murder mysteries in einer Cozy Kleinstadt übrig haben. Hervorragend zum abschalten und runter kommen, trotz der Morde.... ^^

I absolutely loved this graphic novel! This being said, despite the beautiful, wholesome artwork, this is NOT a children's book!! I cannot emphasize this enough. The themes in this book is just for adults and deals with rather dark subject matter. The story and characters are incredibly well exucuted and I definitely recommend this... If you can stomach it.

Great product! The quality is very nice, and it came much sooner than i expected it to. I first read a couple of pages of this book on the interent but i am so glad i bought the physical copy, it's much more enjoyable for me to read. I really like it :)

37$ for a so small comics book? Whatever is the story, it is a rip-off. I got it for 24$ (discount) but it is really the max it should cost. It is not an isolated cases: I think many prices are increased to make us think it is a great discount (like -30 to 40%) while it is just the normal price. I think we should have some regulation for the price of Comics books like it is in France. Else you always need to be very careful and if you are disappointed multiple times, you will not order online anymore.
