Green is not only my favorite color, but is symbolic to me also. I like the size, small but not too small. I like the weight. I just like holding this book. I will agree that the pages are a strange color. If they were gilded, the book would be perfection, but then its beauty might be distracting from its content and purpose. (I am not commenting on content, because to do so would be arrogant if not blasphemous, and I assume buyers will be familiar with the beautifully written, moving and helpful content.) Review: BCP - Perfect

Great pocket BCP
Had this for a few months now, love the pocket size with a ribbon. I personally love the green/gold combination, and the fact that it’s single column. Very good pocket size Book of Common Prayer, I refer to it often.

Very nice!
This is really nice! It feels good in the hand, and is small enough but not too small. The print is good for me. I am really glad I ordered this! It is perfect for personal use, church use or clergy use.

Perfect Personal Sized BCP for Everyday Use
I was looking for a streamlined BCP for devotional and travel purposes, and this is perfect for my needs. This takes up far less space in my bag than the pew sized hardcover version I was carrying around to coffee shops. The font is small, but it is still easy to read: except for the section containing Historical Documents. In that section, the font is very small, but in spite of that, the printing is very clear, so it is easy to make out the words. Also, I don't think many people would purchase this edition if they desired to study the 39 Articles or the Chicago-Lambeth Quadrilateral. The cover is dark green and is nicely bound. The edges of the pages have a faint yellow tint. Includes special pages for presentation, baptism, confirmation, and marriage. It also includes one gold colored ribbon bookmark. Overall, I am very happy with this edition.

Book is fine. Return fee unconscionable.
This edition or format for the Book of Common Prayer is nicely produced, and would make a nice presentation gift. I bought it for its compactness and soft but not paperback cover, but not as a gift. As it happens, I returned it when I realized that the size and shape was not going to work for my purposes (to take on trips and maybe keep in car-- I'm an Episcopal priest). I was shocked to learn upon returning it that Amazon deducted a 50%-- yes, that's right, 1/2-- "restocking fee" from my refund-- in addition to a $3.99 charge postage. I do not recall seeing a prior indication of that restocking fee anywhere. To be fair, I might have missed it: but I have up till now trusted Amazon as a retailer with reasonable policies and practices. No more trust, Amazon. This fee is completely unconscionable. UPDATE Yes, I did try to look up information about restocking. No, there was no readily discoverable information. I replied to the notice about the refund and non-refund, and got the expected nobody-reads-replies-to-these-messages response, along with the customary and useless advice to look online for help. Easy to carry with me
I appreciate the sturdy binding, and elegant cover. The pages are the perfect weight for usability and frequent use. I enjoy the lectionary and prayers. It fits easily in my hands while having a font large enough to read. The value was excellent.
