**Q: Is this made from aluminum or steel?**
A: I THINK it’s made of steel.  I gave it as a gift so I did not use.  It looked very well made and is a German product

A: Yes

**Q: Has anyone used this to make Spaghetti Eis?**
A: Of course! You can also make spaghetti ice cream with the Goldspatz press with round holes.
Very important: Put the press in the freezer for a few hours before preparing. The ice cream must not be too firm.

**Q: What is the diameter of the holes?**
A: Very small, less than the diameter of a pencil lead. About 2mm.  I works beautifully for both spaetzle and for potatoes.
