I picked this up for my 4-year-old who is currently obsessed with "finding treasure" (aka every beetle and spider in our backyard), and it’s been a huge hit. The first thing I noticed is that it’s actually sturdy. A lot of kids' nature toys feel like they'll crack the first time they get dropped on the patio, but this one feels like it can handle some rough play. The mesh on the little bug house is nice and tight, so we haven't had any "unplanned escapes" into the living room yet! My kid loves the little tweezers and the magnifying glass. They’re sized perfectly for small hands, and he actually feels like a real scientist while he's out there poking around the flower beds. It’s been a great way to get him away from the TV and actually excited about being outside. If you have a curious toddler who isn't afraid of a few creepy crawlies, this is a total win. It’s simple, fun, and honestly pretty cute to watch them carry it around. Highly recommend!

My 3-year-old grandson loves this whole kit! It's perfect for him. He loves the magnifying top of the small bug container and the fact that he can watch bugs and walk around with his "bug house".

My kid loves it, she's playing with it outside right now. She loves to catch grasshoppers and whatever little bugs she can find. I will say, as a parent, I absolutely love the B line of toys. They're always really well made and sturdy toys. My 9YO son had just about all the musical instruments as a young boy. He had the Dog Guitar, the Cat Keyboard and the Frog Drums. He had the Big base drum with all the instruments inside it. He even had one of the Nylon pop up fort things. I will always buy this brand of toy if I can, they're affordable and very well made. This is the Main line of Toys that Target carries. We've had so many of this brands toys over the years. Great toys.

A great item for introducing young children to nature - to the reality of nature rather than the unreality of iPads, cell phones and cyberspace. Its only drawback is it lacks a “butterfly” net. But this is easily acquired. Pair it with a book on insects and voila! you have a junior biologist. I used a very similar item with my children and gave this one to a 4 year old neighbor. I now see him walking about his backyard looking for suitable specimens to examine.

Got for my grandson and he loves it, said he caught a few bugs already !

My 3 year old nephew loves catching fireflies and he uses the cup to hold them so he can watch them glow. It’s been so much fun watching him as he exams them with the magnifying glass. I never get tired of him saying “WOW”. This was a great summertime gift for the inquisitive mind of a toddler. This is great for girls who love bugs too!

My granddaughter loves this insect catching kit. She has played with it for months and nothing has been broken. Shes 4. 4 year olds have the ability to break anything and everything. But she hasnt broken this. She has had a lot of fun playing with it. The price is great
