This product is not for Indian Market as the unit which was delivered to me runs on 110/120 Volt AC supply and also on 6 C type batteries. No where in India this can be plugged in supply socket, as shown in the instruction manual without a step down transformer with rated current specification. Moreover, the product was picked up for return by Blue Dart company some 3/4 days back but refund has not been initiated either by Amazon or the company. Wonder why there is no quality control check by Amazon and especially for these electronic products, which mostly are supplied defective and appears to be rolled over. After Amazon increased their activity from India, these type of mistrustful business activities has increased manifold. Also, in Amazon site, this product is mentioned as that of USA but on the actual back cover of the product it is clearly mentioned as MADE IN CHINA. My advice not to go for this unit unless you want to run it only on Cell batteries.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: Failed in 6 months. Doesn't get on either in 220 or 110 volts. No response with remote or button. But my initial review was as given below.An elegant music player for music lovers. It plays everything except vinyl records. Absolutely awesome in playing old magnetic tapes. Ensure you have good tape cassettes. Tested all modes (except recording) and working flawlessly. Music quality is awesome with Equalizer modes for such a small player. Use sound bars to get more louder through earphone connector. It plays MP3 disc also. A good buy but the price is increasing and that's a little bit of worry.

So I was in the market for a compact portable cd/cassette player. I have some old cassettes laying around that I wanted to hear and since I'm old school, I wanted a cd player that I could use anywhere with the multitudes of cds I have. This unit is compact and portable. As far as its functions: The cd player works great so far and the sound/speakers are fine for my uses. Im not a sound techie, I just want to hear the music as its supposed to sound and this seems to do that. Its not tinny or basey as far as I can discern. For the price, I wasn't expecting anything more savvy. The cassette player works as I had hoped! Ff and rew worked fine for me. And it sounds like a cassette sounds. Lol. The aux port works with the included cable. To test I plugged it into my desktop. I also plugged it into some small external speakers and the sound was even better. The sound filled the room with these. Bluetooth worked great. The remote is handy and usable. I didn't install batteries into the unit yet. Tbd how that will work! I also didn't test out the USB function. I don't really have a use for that. My only gripe concerns the radio. This morning, with the airwaves relatively clear, I was only able to tune in 2 local (in town) stations with the antennafully extendedand much fiddling. This is disappointing, but not a game changer i suppose. I didn't really purchase it for this function, but it would've been nice have the option. I will update if this changes. Overall this is a five ☆ product for me for uses and price. It performs all of the functions that I personally bought it for.

About the best little modern boom box for the money. Bought this to replace an older Sony from the 2000s that finally died after 20 years. I saw a review from Recordology on YouTube and was impressed enough to try it. I am glad I did. It's well made fit and finish, but for a small box it has plenty of clean sound. It is EASY to use. Out of the box I didn't even crack the manual, just plugged it in, inserted a CD and it started playing. Fast load time too. The real gem is the cassette player, it has very low wow and flutter, true stereo separation, and cassettes recorded on my Nakamichi BX-300 from years past sound crystal clear and rich, as do my 30-40 year old pre-recorded cassettes I've owned since high school. Amazing how analog audio that is supposed to fade away doesn't when you play it on half decent equipment. It can play Bluetooth and USB files. Was surprised that it came with a remote that is full sized, well marked and fully functional but unlike other radios no remote needed to fully operate the unit. The AM/FM tuner is of the modern DSP variety but has an analog varactor has a solid feel with some torque required to turn so it makes it easy to tune and lock in stations. Has a LCD frequency display. Everything about this thing says quality, good sound and well laid out for a small size unit. Well worth the under $60 paid.
