I went in with high expectations yet somehow my expectations were still blown away. I upgraded from a r3 so I’d definitely suggest this if you’re coming from a r3 but I wouldn’t suggest the r5 if you came from a r3. So definitely one of the best options on the market and if you’re worried about the force feedback not being enough don’t be it’s more than enough for 95% of people

Upgraded for a gear drive set up to thenR9 V3, night and day difference. I sim drift and felt like I was always behind the rotation. The R9 V3 was a game changer for me. I’m still new to sim drifting but this shortens the learning curve. I combined the wheel base with a Quick Release and after market wheel for a less expensive setup as I was able to use my current shifter, pedals and intake. No regrets on this purchase!

Should have ditched the g29 sooner. A world of difference better.

Amazing wheel base!

purchased the MOZA R9 V2 Direct Drive Servo, and while the hardware itself is excellent, the overall experience has been marred by serious issues with the software and customer service. The servo performs as advertised when everything is working, but the software is glitchy and unreliable. A recent change to the software caused my entire setup to stop functioning. I spent countless hours troubleshooting, trying to resolve the issue without success. When I reached out to customer service, the experience was nothing short of frustrating. Despite providing ample information about the problem, I was repeatedly asked for the same “proof” that it wasn’t working, with no meaningful assistance provided. It felt like they were more interested in deflecting than solving the issue. For anyone considering this product, I would advise looking elsewhere for sim racing equipment with better software stability and a more responsive customer support team. The hardware is great, but the lack of reliable software and effective customer service makes it hard to recommend.

On the fence? Just do it. This thing ups your realism significantly.

Great wheelbase and ive been enjoying it but the software required to use it is impossible to download for me and many others for months. I got an older version from a sketchy link and updated to the newest from there. Fix it moza, its embarassing.
