Apparently on some German marque brand cars now, the front number plate is stuck on. Mine came off in a powerful car wash. So I invested in this tape and wow... talk about strong. I used about 12 strips on my car reg after cleaning the back of the reg plate and the area where it'll be stuck to thoroughly. It grabbed immediately and that was it, it was that easy... and due to its strength, it was going absolutely nowhere. Fortunately I had it aligned perfectly (Luck not judgement). I drove over 200 miles the next day and it has held firm since then and it's been on now coming up to a month with no issues. Thickness wise, it was perfectly suitable, yet discreet... approximately 3mm ish. Is it a quality product? Absolutely and highly recommendable.

Easy to use and very strong bond! Hold the plates very well. Make sure to align your plate first before pressing and holding for 60 seconds.

Sticks extremely well

Works a treat - like super glue to be precise. Make sure to use alcohol rub & take of any excess grime/previous tape etc. I used all the strips contained within the pack as I wanted a “one time solution” - 2 months in looking good!

Amazingly strong tape, so strong that when I came to remove my private plate, the plated disintegrated trying take it off.

My car registration plate had started to fall off after the double-sided tape I originally used completely lost its stick. In need of a quick fix, I gave these Tiger Tape Sticky Pads a go. To their credit, they did the job initially—nice, strong grip and easy to apply. However, with the recent spell of hot weather followed by heavy rain, things went downhill fast. The heat seems to have softened the adhesive, making the pads loosen, and then rain probably got in between the pad and the plate, finishing off what little hold remained. Overall, I’d recommend these as a short-term fix or emergency backup, but you’ll want something more robust for a permanent solution—especially with unpredictable UK weather in play.

You can tell these are the real deal, strong as you can get really worth paying the lil extra for quality not one problem with them, just make sure too not go crazy ripping off the plastic covering or you will take the sticky part off, but that goes without saying, it’s not fiddly so don’t let that deter you.

The best, full stop. The amount you have here will securely fix four licence plates, with some small spare. And that’s probably using more than needed, on those four! This stuff is super powerful and was recommended to us by a trade professional. I have never regretted it. It’s easy to use, you choose how much or little you use, so can use strips or tabs, dependent on how you cut it, making for perfect compatibility, every time. This makes for perfect fit, and super strength! It removes easily (peel plates off, as pulling can snap the plates - adhesion is that strong!) and any that remains simply rolls off, when you rub your thumb over it firmly. It’s the perfect product for licence plates and more. I’ve used it in a metal shed, to hold a wall mounted solar light, and the oil cord switch does t budge this stuff! BUT you do need a clean, flat surface, to fix it to. Superb value for money.
