Those have a real FR trem. **Q: Can I use this to switch to alternate tunings without messing with the screws and the tension?** A: If you’re keeping the same size strings you don’t need to use these at all. Just loose in the nuts by the headstock and you could tune in to whatever tuning you want and then lock them back down. What I do is unlock the nut and tune it to the alternate tuning that you want but leave each string a little bit flat and then loosen the fine tuning pegs all the way open so you can turn them in after you lock the nut back down. These set up locks work excellent for changing strings or changing the string thickness to lock the tremolo. **Q: Couldn’t you take a piece of wood and make the same thing for 5 cents?** A: If that's what you want to do then do it. These blocks have notches that catch hold to hold the bridge steady for tuning and intonation. When you float the floyd or edge the block falls clear. I've made stuff out of all kind of crap on my bench these blocks are handy and work good. No guitar is the same and the space between the back of the trem and body is not the same size. Work on a couple hundred and youll have a good idea how much easier and faster these blacks make trem floats.. **Q: Will these blocks work on a prs s2 standard 24 trem system? thank you** A: I believe so. I haven't had an S2 in my hands in awhile, but I believe the sustain block is similar to that on a strat or a Floyd.
