This was difficult to install the bluetooth option to begin with and today after less than 3 months, the blue tooth no longer works. Wife installed easy and still works. But I bought it for blue tooth and got wifi as a bonus. Not happy with my purchase at all This review is EDITED. Because I had issues with bluetooth that boiled down to it no longer working, I posted the above review and ordered a new bluetooth. I admit when I was wrong. Went to install the NEW bluetooth and first step as always is to disable all previous bluetooth devices (I did this when I installed the AX900 from the company I reviewed). When I checked device manager somehow Windows (I guess in one of their updates) managed to reactive the original bluetooth that came on the motherboard. I checked device manager when the AX900 no longer appeared to work and only found it and that the generic adapter was no longer working) hence a 3rd bluetooth. And 4 days later the motherboard bluetooth is now showing and overriding everything. My original review of the AX900 was wrong. When I turned the motherboard one off AGAIN, thank you Microsoft, it works fine. My bottle of ibuprofen is now 1/2 full from the headache this mess gave me.

This adapter works perfectly for Wifi and Bluetooth connectivity.

As others have pointed out the instructions that came with this device are pretty much useless. Even so set up is pretty simple. I bought this to replace a broken wifi adapter on and old Windows 7 PC. After plugging it in instructions say to install the software/drivers use the CD--which is not even included in the packaging--or scan a code or get it online. I thought it was odd that Windows treated the dongle as another flash drive and out of curiosity clicked to expand it and low and behold there was the driver file. Installed it and signed in to my wifi but it wouldn't connect until I rebooted--been fine ever since so far. I haven't tried using the bluetooth yet but looks like I will have to call the company since I don't see it showing up anywhere. I will update when I know more, but mainly wanted this for wifi so am OK with it so far.

Works well. I get 2x - 3x more speed than the built-in Wi-Fi system in my laptop. Great price. I would buy this item again. I previously tried another type of USB Wi-Fi adapter. It did get faster speeds. BUT! It had a flip-up antenna that kept getting banged and caught on things. I was worried about damaging the USB port. I much prefer this more compact type. Last but not least, it's a great price.

This device was.advertised as working on windows 7,10, and11. The box however said it worked only 10 & 11. The whole purpose of device is to connect to internet. The instructions, which are quite poor, say that if you cannot find setup program to download driver from website. If you are not connected to internet, how can you download?

Well It works--after 8 hours of working with Microsoft Copilot helping me to find and download the correct drivers. The instructions are FAR FAR FAR from complete. You have to download the new software but before running setup.exe, 1. Delete all paired bluetooth devices. 2. Disable all current bluetooth devices. 3. Delete all Bluetooth software. Now Run Setup then Insert the USB drive and Reboot your computer. Definitely not plug and play. Perhaps the most difficult install I've ever done.

A snap to install and is exceeding my expections.
