i lv this product take me back too my child hood days !!! my mother used this all the time front door step n garden i truly think this is the best for cleaning in garden. the best at getting rid off the green on decking great for stone path and that smell it leaves is the best so easy too use few drops in bucket always have this on hand

I’ve been using jeyes for years, I swear by it. Smells nice too. Easy to use, good value for money, very effective, lasts long.

Much better than the clear odourless fluid that they changed from the original. Nothing comes anywhere near the original black strong coal tar fluid that I had used for decades. I’ve bought so many different other brands but they’ve been totally ineffective. Now that the better weather is coming, my search for another disinfectant started and came across Jeyes again. Reading that it was the classic formula I thought it was worth another try. It comes in the old style tin, which was a good start, it was black again and had a smell. Not quite the original smell, but a nice clean one all the same. If it was completely the original, it would be 5 stars but I give it a good 4. It’s not the same strong clean smell that I love but it does smell clean and disinfected. Not the true original but a close contender.

Finally, the original fluid and not a diluted version! I find it a struggle to get the cap off initially and snip off the plastic tabs to make life easier. Recommended, but be prepared to need help getting the cap off!

Just what I needed, cleaned my patio a treat

Smells just like the Jeyes fluid of old! So far its been effective warding off animals from my fence line. The only issue is opening the blasted tin! The squeeze and twist cap mechanism they employ is nigh on impossible to open. So far on every attempt I have failed. My wife has managed to open it a few times but she too has problems more often than not. To be honest if I was on my own, I suspect I would have chucked it in the dustbin by now. In summary. It has the strong smell of 'old' Jeyes, its effective as a deterrent, but its absolutely NOT easy to use. They need to alter the cap mechanism. 1 star for the container. 5 stars for the product. Net score 3 stars. Would I buy agian? NO. Solely because of the difficulty in opening (or not in my case) the darn tin
