This is a very well made product. It has simplified garbage and recycling collection in the kitchen and precludes any insect or vermin infestations. Only one difficulty: installing trash bags. I have to use a slim ruler to tuck the sides of the bag between the wall of the can and the removable plastic bin. It only takes a minute, and a little patience. I am happy with this item.

Great for sorting out recyclable items. But a tad bit small. Could be 10-15% bigger on the trash side and the recyclable could stay the same side. Is as the 13gal trash bag only has 10gal volume. Aslo the stainless outer shell scratches slightly easy.

This trash can looks stylish in stainless steel and feels well-built. The dual compartments make separating trash and recycling super easy, and the soft-close lid works quietly. It’s the perfect size for the kitchen — not too bulky but holds a lot. The step pedal works smoothly every time. Excellent design and functionality.

We purchased this for our short-term rental unit. Tenants state that they like the large capacity of the container and that it is very functional. The inserts slip out easily and there is a little notch in the inner container to help hold the plastic bag in place. it's very sturdy and looks nice. This is not the container that fits under the cabinet. So, unless you have a pantry or closet to put it into, the container fits well next to the end of a counter.
