Highly recommend this as without it you can not move the griddle due to the heat across the handles

I picked this product because it was a custom fit for our griddle pan. I really like how the grips feel, and they definitley make moving the griddle around more comfortable (on the stove or off). I don't use them when I have the griddle on the outdoor grill, but I do use them on the stove. I suppose there are more multi-use options available (like silicone or neoprene grips), but I like the custom fit and feel of these.

I bought to complete the look, but Made In prices everything too high. Good quality though.

Have not tried it. But hopefully, thick enough not to burn our hands. With the carbon steel griddle

These supple leather handle covers are intended to limit heat exposure to hot Made In griddle handles. They are also suitable for smaller sauce pans. A storage sack is provided to keep the pair together. These brown leather handle covers are soft to the touch. The ends are cut such that either a straight cut or beveled cut are at the exposed end. However they are sewn over a simple fold which makes the seam a bit intrusive when gripping. I provided a photo of a covered 1-1/2 cup saucepan handle to give an idea of fit. Given both ends are open, longer handles may result in an exposed end and if sufficiently hot the potential for an unanticipated burn if pushed on too far. Made In has an excellent reputation for quality and utility. The quality is there. Utility, especially for $30, is a bit shaky.

First off, I would say these are a bit pricy for what they are. I have a pair of off-brand leather handle covers that work just as well as these on the Made in Griddle, but they cost half the price. I will say though... the quality is unquestionable with Made In products. The leather in these feels way more quality than the other pair I have. Super smooth finish and the colour of the leather feels almost rich. The fit is absolutely perfect. It's clearly made to work perfectly in tandem with the griddle. Price is definitely the only thing that gives me a bit of pause, but to be honest... the griddle itself is pricy, and I feel like most people who have bought it are typically looking to pay a premium for quality. If that's you, then these will be perfect for you. If you're looking for the same functionality on a budget, you can find alternatives at a better value if you look around.

As soon as I felt them in the package I thought there was a mistake. I thought "There's no way I got the same thing everyone's saying is so great.", because these are the thinnest, half- decent quality "leather" handle covers. Maybe I've been spoiled by other companies good quality, but I'm sending them back. :/ I tried them out in case they'd surprise me and they get so hot you can't even pick up the griddle!

Fits perfectly and provides a safe, comfortable grip when the griddle is hot. The leather is thick and high-quality, adding a nice professional touch.

I have another made in leather handle for the burger press and these did not look like, smell like or feel like the leather on that one. I was disappointed and sent them back. However they do do what they are supposed to do but just felt very expensive for something different to my original
