Best purchase ever!!! The sturdiest phone holder ever. Easy to install and move. Saves space and it’s long enough I can adjust to see every angle.

I am absolutely floored over how good this stand is, and my expectations were set pretty low, if I'm honest. The actual base is surprisingly very stable and secure. Once I tightened it down the grips on the clip make any slipping virtually impossible! (My desk actually almost fell over testing this out) The gooseneck arm is very sturdy and requires a higher amount of force to move it around, which I personally appreciate as I enjoy making speed drawing videos on my phone. I only have one real "con" for the stand but before I go into it I have to reiterate that this is one of the best, if not the best stand you can buy, especially for this price. I have no real complaints for this stand and this one is moreso down to nitpickiness (is that how you spell it? Haha) The arm of the stand wobbles very slightly at full length, and only for a few seconds before restabalizing. That's about the only real struggle, if you can really even consider it as such, that you're really going to have with this stand. Overall, if you're considering buying this stand, I'm 100% sure that you're going to be highly satisfied with your purchase! I attached a small test video I did with the stand to showcase it's sturdiness. The stand didn't move even slightly throughout the process of the video and I'm super happy with how it turned out!

I have read some pretty amazing post for product reviews on Amazon. So well written, informative, or funny that I have forwarded those reviews off to other to just enjoy the shear rhetoric held with in the review.... Let me just point out that this will not be one of those. This is just honest review of a product, I was not paid, coerced, forced, held at gun point, or threatened with paper cuts and lemon juice. I hope you find this somewhat useful in your decision to make a purchase for a think that holds the phone for what ever reason. Simply put, it works great. I bought this for my desk at work so I could have my phone up a bit higher, more towards eye level while working. Well this product, Tryone Gooseneck phone holder, is the way to go. I love that I can adjust/move the arm to what ever position is required. Installation is a breeze and the hardest part of your life while setting up your Tryone gooseneck phone holder is figuring out where you want it to go. I gave this 4 out of 5 starts for one reason, and one reason only. It has to stand the test of time against me, and I am not nice to anything. I fully expect to come back in a few more month to update the review and hand out that last star. Now I am not saying if you buy this you will have the strength of ten men, or the speed of a cheetah. What I am saying is that this thing is pretty damn handy I am I glad I bought it

My hand up to the customer service for this product. They went beyond what I asked to address my issue. Don't see that much anymore. I will get to that in a second. As far as the product itself, I was looking for something that would hold my phone (Google Pixel 6 Pro) And my Nintendo Switch while laying in the bed. For my first one, I decided the bigger holder would be bestto hold either, so I bought it. Liked it so much that I wanted another one to have one for my computer desk and one for the bed. On the second one, I read the description of the white one with a smaller holder, it said that it would fit up to 7 inches. I thought plenty big enough for my Switch and it was also a little cheaper. Turns out, the smaller holder will only fit average-sized phones. So to customer service I go, thinking they sent me the wrong holder. Well, after some back and forth, it was determined that the item title was in fact a little misleading, but my intention was to buy just the bigger white version of the holder for the second arm. After more back and forth, they said they were sending another one out. Turns out, they sent me a whole setup with the bigger holder. Again, my intention was not to get something for nothing, but to buy just the bigger holder, and to suggest they change the item title. They were very nice and helpful in their communications. As for the holder, it is great. It is very stiff and hard to move. It is not something you want to move around and totally readjust too often. The tighten-down clamp holds it very secure. The holder is good. The spring is tight to hold securely. The bottom cut-outs are good for charging cords access. But, for my phone, I have a thing silicone case on it and the fit is pretty tight. It has not popped out of the holder yet, but it feels like it just barely has juuust enough bite on it to stay in. This is also due to the camera juts out along the top. A forethought in design to make the holder a few millimeters deeper would help this perhaps. It does hold my Switch horizontal (can't use joycons with it). If you were to use these for a bigger tablet that you need to tap and swipe around on, you will have some shakiness. I can hold it steady enough while I tap around on my phone so it is not noticeable, and I usually don't touch the Switch when I play it so it is no big deal. These do what I want them to do just fine. Customer service is A++!

The Good: It's really easy to set up right out of the box. I like how the table clamp screw is large enough to grip with your whole hand and twist loose or tighten. The ball joint is smooth and can be tightened easily. The arm is very sturdy, needing 2 hands to make bends. The weight of your phone will not tip it over. The phone grip is strong. I'm not afraid my phone will slip out. And the whole thing looks nice in white. The Bad: It wobbles...I don't know why I didn't think of this before I bought it. If I bump the table, my phone bounces like it's on a spring or bungie cord. I am trying to use this to film my art process and I'm not sure I can deal with how it wiggles. The phone clamp is the stretch type. It's awkward getting my phone in and out. I have to pull on it firmly and hold it open with one hand, place my phone in it with the other hand before it snaps closed. I wish it had a screw to tighten/loosen, like a vice grip. It's kind of frustrating. Over all, this is not ideal for my situation.

#####2020 follow up##### So I have had this thing on my desk for over a year now, the original review stands and then some because when I purchased this item, I didn't expect it to be this durable. The only problem I have had is the retaining nut that cracked. I contacted the vender and without hesitation, they corrected the issue. If you are thinking about getting one of these, do it... a company that provides a good product and stands behind it this long after purchase is one that you should be purchasing from. Thank you tyrone! __________________________________________Original______________________________________________________ I was looking for something that I could use to keep my phone off the desk and out of the way. My last stand was always in the way so I would put it just out of reach which did nothing but irritate me every time I had to answer my phone. I found this stand and figured what the hell, it is only $11, what's the worst that can happen? I got it a couple of days later and the first thing I noticed was that while it is relatively light, the base secures very well to the desk and the flexible neck does a great job of holding the phone in place without sagging. The phone clamp is very strong and opens wide enough so that I can fit my iPhone 6 plus in it with room to spare. The flexibility of the arm is outstanding but there are a few things you should know before you buy. The best way to set it up is to put the neck into a spiral, that will keep it from swaying as much when you interact with the phone while it is on the stand. The manufacturer recommends not to put any bends in the neck where the neck meets the base. Even with spirals in the neck your phone will wobble about a bit when you touch it. Not because of crappy design but because it would be physically impossible to not have that happen with this type of stand. I have only had this stand about two weeks so I can not say for sure what it will be like in the long run but as of now, it is the best thing to happen to my desk and phone. Some quick notes: In the interest of full disclosure, I have been in touch with the company through their customer support but it was initially due to another product that I purchased from them and was actually using incorrectly. Eventually the conversation moved on to this stand (which is also one of their products) and what I thought about it. The person I spoke to (Kevin) has been very helpful, polite and extremely professional. The stand I have was purchased by me and is being reviewed with no influence by them. They did not offer me any compensation or special discounts nor did I ask for any. All of my reviews are based on my experience with products that I purchased, own and use unless otherwise stated. lastly; My only suggestion to the company was that this stand would greatly benefit from some type of channel system or clips that would allow the user to run the power cord along the neck instead of having to wrap it the way I have done. This stand has received 5 stars across the board with one exception, Durability, not because it is not durable but because 2 weeks is not enough time to judge its durability. I loved this until it broke. The clamp is fantastic. Great design, easy to use, and sturdy. The flexible gooseneck is also fantastic. It’s really strong, so a bit difficult to bend the way you want, but that means it’s very stable. The problem is the piece that actually holds your phone. I was worried this piece would break as it’s just a spring loaded plastic clamp. Sure enough, the third time I used it, as soon as I stretched it open to place the phone, the whole thing broke apart in my hands. I was outside and the pieces went flying. I couldn’t even find them all. It’s so disappointing because the rest of it is really great. I’ve tried so many different phone holders and inevitably they all break. I don’t want to send it back and get another one because I’m sure it’s just going to break again. The rest of it is so so good that I’m going to try to rig something on the end to hold the phone before I send it back.
