Herschel Classic Backpack, Raven Crosshatch, Classic 24.0L

This is the first time I've bought a clear backpack that doesn't turn yellow. It holds its shape perfectly and there's no issue with color transfer either. I really should have known that the Herschel Classic Backpack, Clear, wouldn't disappoint! ***But the only thing is that some stadiums wont alow this big backpack

This is a great size for high school even college kids. It's not heavy even with computer, notebooks inside. It's lasted my daughter all through high school! Very durable and it functions great for any kid who has electronics and books for school!

I use this as my Go-to day pack for daily activities. Its small and light. I usually fit it with my macbook, camera, and the front pocket with chargers, and cables. There is no laptop dedicated pouch, but its not really needed. The main compartment is small enough that if you put anything in there with your laptop, it wont be able to move around much. When traveling, I compress this bag down and stuff it in another military bag. It takes up no space at all! I bought another color for my dad since he has similar needs. I'd recommend this to anyone looking for a good looking, hipster backpack.

School district is enforcing clear backpacks. Good quality and exactly what we needed.

It’s required in my daughter’s high school to have a clear backpack if you want to carry it from class to class. She’s always had black Herschel bags throughout her school years but she didn’t want this one at first because she wanted something larger and with more pockets. We purchased a larger, cheaper off-brand one off of here in late August, at the start of the school year. By December, a zipper was broken and a strap was pulling out of the vinyl and making a hole. I ended up buying her this one as a backup in case she changed her mind, which she did once she saw it! The difference in quality was evident from the get go, so although it’s smaller than she’s used to, she’s making it work by carrying less and says she loves the sturdiness and feel of the bag. I really feel it could last beyond this school year, but if it doesn’t I will be sure to update this review by June 2026.

By far one of the best backpacks I’ve ever purchased and I’ve purchased many! The tie dye pattern is really cool and the colors are really bright, just as pictured. I got some iron-on patches so my kiddo could make it her own and they look awesome on the black front pocket (FYI, had to hot glue them on, but expected that after reading some reviews). I was worried it would be too big for my 2nd Grader (she’s slightly on the taller side for her age), but it’s not. With the straps pulled as short as they go, it sits just below her waist and I love that I was able to wrap the straps up to tuck into the elastic so that they don’t dangle. Inside I’m able to pack a 1” binder, a rolled up beach towel, a rolled up hoodie, AND a 10” square lunch bag (a tight fit, but it works). The side pockets are great for a 16oz water bottle in one side and small hand sanitizer spray bottles in the other. That still leaves the front pocket for extra face masks, glasses, pencils, etc. This backpack has seen daily use since school started in August and it literally still looks brand new. The material is tough and stiff, and it’s held its shape even after several leaky water bottle incidents. Be warned though that the material is scratchy! On price, it’s on par with other name brand or trendy backpacks. It doesn’t have the fancy pockets or straps some of the others do, but honestly, we haven’t needed anything else. Overall, super happy and will definitely be looking at Herschel backpacks first going forward. Honestly, I may just keep this one for myself after my kiddo is done with it!

This has been my favorite backpack so far. It is very cute and stylish. My only complaint is that the space is somewhat limited, but that is the price you pay for a sleek design. Also, the red lining, while cute, has stained the corners of my ipad case pink.

I started walking to work as an adult and I used to have a small hiking day pack that I would try to put my lunch and any binders and papers that I needed to transport back and forth. The day pack was too small, but I didn't want to get a huge 17 compartment bag that just felt bulky. I've seen the Herschel bags before and I like the simple design. I like that it is a good size to transport everything that I need, in a color that I like but doesn't make me feel like I'm using a child's backpack. It has solid construction and the shoulder straps are nicely padded and don't bother me no matter how heavy I've made the bag. My walk is about a half hour to 45 minutes and this is a well constructed and comfortable bag for the walk.
