Just plain garbage!
Should have read the reviews! I received 11 seeds and promptly planted them in seed starter with a variety of other peppers, germination was horrible!!! Don't buy these overpriced crappy seeds. I had great success with the other seeds in the same tray, of the 11, 4 sprouted after a week, most were "helmet heads" that I managed to salvage only to watch the primary leaves wilt and die off. Extremely disappointed in this crappy product! My other seeds are vigorous and growing rapidly, after 3 weeks the Reapers that managed to break ground are dead!!! What waste of time and money! You need to stop selling these NOW!!!

Poor germination rate
Only three of the ten seeds sprouted, and only one survived into a plant. Very poor germination rate.

Not Quite What I Expected, But Still Worth Trying
I bought the Carolina Reaper seeds hoping to grow the world’s hottest pepper, and while I had some success, there were a few hiccups along the way. Pros: Heirloom Quality: The seeds arrived well-packaged and clearly marked. I appreciate that they are heirloom quality, which is a nice touch for anyone looking to grow their own peppers from a reliable source. Germination: I had about 50% of the seeds germinate, which is decent for pepper seeds. I followed the planting instructions carefully and kept the soil warm, and they started sprouting within a couple of weeks. Intense Heat (When They Grow): Once the peppers matured, the heat level was absolutely intense. These things are no joke—definitely live up to their reputation as the world’s hottest pepper. Cons: Slow Growth: I’m not sure if it was just my batch, but the plants grew incredibly slowly. It took a lot longer than expected for them to develop into full-sized peppers, and I didn’t see much progress until the later months. Not Very Hardy: Several plants seemed to struggle with pests and didn’t survive as long as I hoped. I’ve grown other varieties of peppers before with fewer issues, but these seemed a bit more fragile. Inconsistent Size and Shape: While I did eventually get a decent harvest, the peppers were smaller and a bit misshapen compared to what I had anticipated. Some were the typical Reaper shape, but others didn’t look quite right, which was a bit disappointing. Final Thoughts: I’m still glad I gave the Carolina Reaper seeds a shot, but I’m not sure I’ll buy them again. The heat level is amazing, and the plants that survived produced some seriously fiery peppers, but the slow growth and occasional plant issues were frustrating. If you're a seasoned gardener and willing to put in the extra work, it might be worth trying, but for beginners, it could be a bit of a challenge.

DO NOT BUY THIS
Zero germination rate in coir pellets in a starter tray with lid on. Everything else I've done in this method including seeds from peppers from the store have been at least 50%, usually 90%.

Carolina Reaper Seeds – World’s Hottest Pepper Seeds – Heirloom Quality, 10+ Seeds Per Pack I am so ready for a fiery experience. Im not looking no further than the Carolina Reaper pepper seeds. These seeds are from the world's hottest pepper, with a Scoville rating of over 2 million! The seeds have a high germination rate, so I can expect a successful planting experience. These heirloom quality seeds are perfect for those who love a good challenge and enjoy the thrill of extreme heat. The Carolina Reaper pepper plant can grow up to 5 feet tall, making it a stunning addition to your garden or greenhouse. To ensure a successful planting, sow the seeds indoors in a warm and sunny location about 8-10 weeks before the last frost date. Once the seedlings have grown a few sets of leaves, they can be transplanted into a larger container or directly into the garden. When growing these hot peppers, make sure they receive full sun exposure for optimal growth. The plants prefer well-draining soil with a slightly acidic pH. Water the plants regularly, allowing the soil to dry out slightly between waterings. Harvesting the peppers can be done when they reach their desired size and color, which is usually around 90-120 days after planting. Be sure to wear gloves when handling the peppers, as the heat from the Carolina Reaper can cause skin irritation. In conclusion, if you're a thrill-seeking gardener looking for a unique and intense challenge, the Carolina Reaper pepper seeds are an excellent choice. With their high germination rate and extreme heat, these seeds will surely provide an unforgettable growing experience.
