- Extra "8" shape band and padded hook-and-loop strap secures the AFO firmly around the calf.     Custom trimmed, available in left or right, men's and women's styles.Thin, flexible foot part can be trimmed with a pair of cast scissors     This AFO splint provides static dorsiflexion assistance and lateral stability for the entire foot-ankle area.     The low arch and open heel give this splint a streamlined profile that fits easily into any shoe.     Designed to aid in foot drop that is secondary to CVA or nerve palsy as well as heel cord tightness, and to support the foot in a proper position.

I have been wearing a brace of this nature for over 15 years for "Foot Drop."  this is the Best one I have had to support my leg/foot, ever.  The Medical community will RIP YOU OFF with braces that are NOT built this good and charge 15X the price.
