AA Anniversary Medallion Any Year 1-65 Chip Bronze Raised Center

My sponsor was the only person I'd accept a chip from because of two reasons. One, it was from him and two, it was a beautiful coin. Since he passed away, I've been searching for a great coin to give to sponsees and for my own yearly celebrations as well. I've tried many different outlets only to be fooled by what looked like a great coin but after a few months, not even a good polish and buffing could bring it back to its original luster. That is until now. This coin was exactly what I've been looking for. I purchased my first coin last year and after being carried in my pocket along with other coins every single day, and being soaked in the wash a few times it looks as good as the first day it came in the mail. The quality is awesome. It has good weight and size but not so much as it would be noticeable if pulled out by accident with other coins in front of people you don't wish to know your business. Hard to say too much here, but if you are wondering about the finished product, like I was, I can tell you it looks great and is an authentic chip for anyone wanting to remember and celebrate a special day. Perfectly made.

I usually buy anniversary medallions in person at a Sobriety Shop. But didn't have the time this year, so took a chance and ordered two chips on line. I typed in Roman numerals for the years, but it looked like regular numbers would work too. Both medallions had the correct numbers and arrived in good condition. They are a bright brass color with raised letters that have darker shadowing around them. This makes them easier to read (especially the Serenity Prayer on the back) than the antique brass versions I've had. And it's a richer look than if they didn't have shading. They are the nice heavier weight versions too, not the cheaper aluminum style. Very satisfied.

This is really neat to be able to buy a chip Since Covid-19 has shut down the physical meetings in our county, and state. So I was happy to be able to get this chip in my husband's 28th year of sobriety as a gift. It's a beautiful chip and will spread the word to fellow AA members where to get a chip.

I've bought several of these coins. Each year, one for me and one for a friend. Our home group does not have many longer sobriety coins. I've always been satisfied with these. They come promptly and look just fine. Was flying out for birthday meeting at my home group and worried about arrival time, as my departure was at end of promised delivery period for express delivery. Not a problem as they arrived almost right away here on the west coast.

I order these on a regular basis. Always quick and correct.
