This is an edited review .  First lamp arrived damaged beyond repair so only one star for that. Now I have a new lamp in perfect condition. The lamp base is heavy enough that should the odd knock happen it won't end up on the floor and it has felt on the base which should help prevent scratches and makes things very easy if you need to tighten things up. The Shade is just right size and perfect for my Hue bulbs so even thats a plus. Very good comms sorting problem with first lamp , a company that wants me to be happy not just take my money.

The item received with pieces of the lower part of the bulb area broken and spread in the box (picture 1) . Picture 2 shows the area where the pieces where broken from. As well the upper part can not be removed as shown in the third picture
