It works well and keeps its charge for quite a long time! Really pleased so far. Feel it’s good value for the price. No issues at all with the connectivity or other functionality. I would recommend.

As we are now doing so many more teleconferences, and so many on-line lectures - I have found that I am needing a remote microphone rather than relying on shouting at the computer's built in one. Wire ones get tangled up, so the only real option is wireless - which is why I was pleased to be testing this set. Like with earpods - the devices are tiny and charge via an USB-C cable inside a storage case. I had the IOS "lightning" plug version (you can also get it in USB-C) and it worked first time when plugged into my iPad - I needed no extra APP to download. I used it with "Microsoft Teams" and to record a Powerpoint Presentation in the "movie" format.I also used it with my old iPhone for a conference call and again, it worked straigt away without needing an extra app. The range was easily enough for me to draw on a whiteboard and give a lecture to the iPad camera without any break in the signal. The second mic' is a bonus - I am using it two ways [1] so I have a back up if the battery in the mic runs out and [2] the capability to have two speakers for discussions. The clarity for voice is good - and the lack of wires means that there is less "rustle" from the wire on your shirt collar that plagued the wired set up. In terms of batteries, I have used one mic today for 2 hours of teleconferences and the battery is still good. The IOS plug is now being phased out - with new Apple models getting USB-C, so I will also try this out with an IOS - to USBc adapter and report if this fails. Lastly - they have a very good instruction booklet. I am no techie - but it took only 2-3 minutes to set everything up. OVERALL - I like this - and would be happy to get it again. Delivery was quick - it came the next day which is great service by the store. If this fails inside 2 years I will be back to update my review.

I have to do a lot of video's of vehicles with commentary at work and in the past we used an iPad or iPhone with a wired microphone , so thought these are an easier option with no wires trailing around and getting caught up in , and they definitely are better than a wired mike. These come in a nice case and with moulded interior to place the receiver and microphones in and they fit in nicely , a bit too nicely ! , I really struggled getting the receiver out ! doesn't help I have no nails , but I had to use a pointed instrument to get it out in the end , so I wasn't too pleased about that , the magnet holding it in seems very strong ! It also comes with a charge cable which is a USB C connector this can be put into the case and it will charge them in there in their respective spaces These are very light and advanced compared to other cheaper ones I have had , they have three levels of noise reduction , plus they can use AI to change your voice , even to female or male ! ( sounds a bit creepy to me ! ) Battery life is fine , but then to be honest my videos only last a few minutes at a time , but the recording is clear and I must admit they do cut out the background noise in the workshop , so they are pretty good I do have a couple of gripes , if you have a case on your iPad or iPhone the receiver may not fit in , they do say this and advise taking the case off or using an extender ..... well for this price why not provide one ?? and also they do a USB C version , why not just include a lightening to USB C converter piece ? It would cost pennies to them However these are so easy to use , firstly I charged everything fully . Followed the instructions and I was up and running in no time Easy to clip on the mic to clothing , very light and discreet , you wouldn't even know you have it on , and the quality of sound seems great , they actually have a really good range Time will tell if they are robust , but they have a quality feel and they work very well , I would have liked the extender and converter for this price though ?

That being said, this review is NOT swayed by that, and (as always) contains only my real thoughts on the product; good and bad.] I requested the ‘BOYA mini Microphone wireless for iPhone, Mini Mic 5g Ultralight, Lavalier Microphone, AI Voice Changer, 3-Level Noise Reduction, 30h Charging Case, Lapel Mic, Clip on Mic with Lightning Plug‘. The microphones arrived and I was struck by how tiny they are, weighing in at 5g each. They are for use with lightning and unsuitable for USB-C - Android use. The instructions worked well and it was easy to connect the mics by fitting the transmitter to my iphone, they paired straight away. The sound quality is good enough for vlogging and the noise cancelling worked best the closer the microphone was to my mouth (operates by clicking the NR button on the receiver, there are 3 modes). The audio sensitivity is 36dB and there is a 3 mode voice changer too. The microphones are easy to operate and the instructions are clear and informative. I like that they recharge in the box so there is no need to worry about running out of power. You get 30 hours with the charging case and it takes 5 minutes to charge them for 1 hour of use. For the price of £ 55.00, on offer at the time of this review, these are good quality and value, they have some useful features and are easy to set up and use. 5 stars.

I was really excited to try out the BOYA Mini-17 Wireless Microphone, but it turned out to be a mixed experience. The first thing I noticed was how lightweight and compact it is—seriously, it’s tiny and easy to carry around. The setup was super simple too—just plug the receiver into the iPhone’s Lightning port, and it connects instantly. No complicated pairing, which I loved. The sound quality is decent, but it’s not perfect. The noise reduction feature is helpful, especially in slightly noisy environments, but it doesn’t completely cancel out background noise. If you're in a very loud setting, expect some interference. The AI voice changer is fun to play around with, but it's more of a gimmick than a useful feature. Battery life is impressive—the charging case provides up to 30 hours of use, and I never had to worry about running out of power during long recording sessions. However, the clip-on design feels a bit flimsy, and I had to adjust it a few times to keep it secure. For casual content creators, vloggers, or those needing a budget-friendly wireless mic, this is a solid option. But if you’re looking for top-tier professional audio quality, you might want to invest in a higher-end model.

They were good for 2 weeks and then just stopped connecting

I have tried a couple of similar devices, and to be honest I have always been impressed so far. Maybe I am easy to please, but as long as a product does the job it is intended to do at a fair price point, I am happy. On testing these I was extremely pleased with the quality of the recorded sound. I tried them inside, in a school main hall and also on the busy street outside. Both scenarios were pretty close to the phone so no range testing was done. The pick up was accurate and the noise cancelling options do make a difference to the quality, as you would expect. I particularly like the discreet nature of these small microphones, and the strength of the clip to hold them firmly in place. I am looking forward to putting them to regular use as they are so easy to carry around with you, ready for whenever you might need them. Set up was very straightforward, and operation of the tiny button controls was not an issue, even for my large fingers. Very pleased with these, and with the current discount (£55) they are excellent value in my opinion.

I do a lot of video recording on my iPhone, and I was looking for a small, wireless microphone. This mic seemed like a good size, and I liked the voice changing feature. It's incredibly light. I barely notice it when it's clipped to my shirt. The pairing was automatic, and it worked instantly with my iPhone. The sound quality is good. The noise reduction helps to cut out background noise, which is important for my recordings. The voice changing feature is fun. I tried the "Male Voice" and "Female Voice" options, and they worked well. It’s a nice feature for adding some variety to my videos. The battery life is also impressive. The charging case is compact, and it keeps the mic powered for hours. It's been helpful for recording interviews and vlogs. The sound is much clearer than using my iPhone's built-in microphone. It’s a good value, and it’s made my video recording much more convenient.

Tonqualität top. Dass man den Modus nicht so richtig steuern kann, ist befremdlich, und einmal haben die Mics sich nicht verbunden, da war das Video stumm - aber das war, glaube ich, mein Fehler. Sehr klein, sehr handlich.
