For something so simple I had no idea how effective it would be. You are able to put all the pressure you want on it because it can just roll and distribute the pressure as it moves. Extremely simple but wildly effective.

The ball doesn't always roll when using, but it still slides across the skin. Overall, I like the product and is probably the best thing I have found so far to massage the knots at my scapular region. I have used it dry and with oil, but don't notice a difference between the two.

It does not stay in place on a painted surface if you try to use it on back muscles. You'll need assistance from someone to massage your back. I was sold on it when I tried it on a textured wallpaper surface and it stayed in place with the pressure of my body against it. There it worked great without assistance to go deep into muscle tissue behind my shoulder blades! No luck at home on a painted wall.

I got this for when I went into labor but once I hit 9 months pregnant we opened it bc my back was killing me, this thing works wonders dude, and while I was in labor I kept getting really bad leg cramps and this thing was a 10/10

Have only used a couple of times and am liking it. Purchased for use on my partners neck and he wants a couple more (one to keep in the car and one for the overnight bag)

Smaller than expected and not as easy to use by yourself. I wish I had spent a little more for the one that can suction to the wall.

Unrealistic to expect great things from this attractive little ball, but it punches at least to its weight. All the bits I can reach benefit from it; one really needs a willing slave to deal with the rest. I like it.
