if you cook the whole bag how many gallons of rice would you have? looking to fill a bath tub.

Earlier someone said that 15 pounds of rice will make 69.78 cups of rice. 16 cups in a gallon so 4.36 gallons of rice per back. Google says a bathtub holds at least 35 gallons so 8-10 bags oughta do it.

Is this a high glutinous rice used to make fermented rice wine?

No. This is a polished, medium grain sticky rice. This is for using as a rice to be served as a side with a meal. Because this is a sticky rice it will be easier to eat with Japanese style chopsticks. You need to look for a glutinous sweet rice for what you want to do.

I have a bag, and it says "Product of USA". Yet the distributor JFC international, distributes products from Japan and Asia. I haven't found where it says this rice is grown in California. However California is the 2nd largest producer of rice ,next to Arkansas, in the United States.

It is a medium white rice. You have to cook it. It is not A quick/minute rice. It is a sticky rice. Where it was grown should be on the products Amazon page.

Habia leido algunas reseñas negativas con relacion a que el producto venía con insectos pero decidí arriesgarme y creo que fue un acierto enorme. El producto llegó a tiempo y bien embalado. El empaque venía impecablemente limpio, nignuna traza de suciedad o cualquier otro tipo de residuos, parecía recien salido de fabrica, quizá tuve suerte de recibir un producto de un lote muy reciente. En cuanto al arroz como tal, es una maravilla para preparar sushi. Solo hay que seguir las instrucciones de lavado y cocimiento, no hay pierde. RECOMENDABLE 100%

This is the first time I tried it and it's great! I cooked the rice in a pot and It's easy instructions makes great tasting rice. Once the rice has stopped I removed the lid and gently stirred the rice and turning it over slightly then let it rest. This makes the rice fluffy so enjoy! 😊
