To use this for an NPT setup PLAN TO SPEND DOUBLE THE PRICE OF THE VALVE TO ACTUALLY USE IT . . .
The threads on this are NOT US (NPT) threads, they are G (BSPP -- which is clearly stated) so I had to purchase an adaptor fitting that costs HALF the price of the Valve to install it. The sewage outlet valve was defective (ball leaked air badly) and it's threads didn't seem to match the fitting it screws into (the threads also leaked air badly), so I had to purchase a new valve, again HALF the price of the Valve. So if you plan to use this drain for an NPT setup PLAN TO SPEND DOUBLE THE PRICE OF THE VALVE TO ACTUALLY USE IT . . . 1 STAR OFF for the price of the adapter (NOT supplied) 1 STAR OFF for the bad ball valve (supplied)

Work, I guess
The whole setup sucks, the float valve itself works like it should though. Go to the hardware store and get galvaniz, stainless, or brass instead of the junk fittings that are with this kit.

Air compressor bucket trap
Although the concept of removing moisture from an air compressor is commendable, there are some limitations to consider. The fittings used are not NPT tapered thread fittings, necessitating the use of pipe dope (Teflon tape) for a secure and airtight connection. Additionally, installing an additional ball valve and union upstream of the float trap would facilitate maintenance. To date, there have been no reports of leakage. This system is relatively straightforward to install, provided you have some mechanical aptitude. I am giving one star because I needed to replace the pipe nipples and add additional fittings to make this work.
