Since the temperature is 90+ F well into October, I thought that doing so in August is better late than never.Several houses here have sun sails. I purchased this one because the length suits the gap in my patio, although the width is too long. There is hardware available to mount sun sails on Amazon, but to keep costs low, I tacked the sail up with roofing nails I got from Ace Hardware for $2.99. As a petite 5’2” woman, I am very proud that I was able to tack up the sun sail by myself. Not only that, the sail has stayed up all week during the worst of dust and thunder storms in the monsoon season.As for cooling the room: It does feel cooler, although the AC unit still has to work hard during the 110 F days.
