SAMSUNG Galaxy A16 5G Dual SIM (128GB, 2025) 6.7" 90Hz AMOLED, Water Resistant, 8Core phone.
Samsung Galaxy A16 5G dual SIM SAMSUNG Galaxy A16 5G Dual SIM (128GB, 2025) 6.7" 90Hz AMOLED, Water Resistant, 8Core phone. Samsung Galaxy A16 is a good phone. I have T-Mobile provider, and my Data can connect most of the time. Phone connection is just Ok. I can make call about 78% of the time. But I can text 94 % of the time. Having a phone, Samsung Galaxy A16 in my case, which can connect to the Data (Internet) most of the time is a VERY big deal. Nowadays, I just need to connect; everything else is on line. For example, cooking on YouTube, movies on Netflix, Google map, Facebook, etc... are online 24/7. In short, Samsung is a low budget which delivered. I used to have Motorola phone for 3 years, then the phone data would not connect anymore - I could not text (much less call). That was the reason I tried Samsung. Someone told me that I need to buy new phone every 3, 4 year because technology keeps changing and only new phones can decode (understand) new technology. Samsung works for me (so do other new phones I guess). No I am not working for, nor affiliated with Samsung in any way. Good luck with you out there who are searching for new phones!

Great phone for the price, works perfectly with Rizz Wireless
I bought the Samsung Galaxy A16 to use with Rizz Wireless, and it’s been a great experience so far. The phone is quick, the display is bright, and the battery lasts all day. For the price, it’s more than enough for calls, texts, email, and everyday apps, no complaints. I used a physical SIM from Rizz Wireless (not an eSIM), and setup was super easy. Just popped it in, restarted the phone, and everything worked right away. Rizz runs on the T-Mobile network, so the coverage and data speeds have been solid. What makes this even better is Rizz’s Rizzentials rewards, I’m literally earning points every time I talk on the phone. I’ve already redeemed some for Starbucks and Ulta gift cards, and even used rewards to cover part of my phone bill. If you’re looking for a dependable, affordable phone to use with a smart wireless plan, this combo really works.

Looking a decent NEW and UNLOCKED lower cost phone? I was and this one worked for me..............
All in all, pretty painless. Dropped my old phone and while still working not worth the cost of Screen Repair either. I was not looking for a phone to be the center of my life, text, calls, a few Apps, a few other features like decent camera. This one fit the price range and being unlocked can be "portable" should want to change carriers. Didn't arrive overnight but fast enough. No doubt this was indeed a NEW Phone not a Refurb but I will add it seems it was manufactured for the South American Market as power on defaults were all Spanish. But easily switched to "Gringo" mode. The Dual SIM feature was not something I really wanted but for those of you interested, be aware you cannot run two SIMS and have an SD Ram Card as well. You can have the SD Ram if you run one SIM. Finally, came with many unwanted Apps(at least for me) pre-loaded. Easy enough to get rid of thee ones I didn't want and add those that I did.

It’s good for the basic.
I say this phone works well. The only thing is that it’s a little slow. Even when connected to WiFi, I just feel it’s not as fast as others. This is used as a second phone so I don’t have much saved on this phone “storage wise”. Just use it for searching the web, calls and text. But other than that, it works great!

Nice Upgrade from Previous 4G Phone
I've had the phone for about a week now. Before I bought I checked out all the specs on Best Buy. Only thing absent is the Barometer sensor. Maybe this a slightly different model. Curious that it came w/no connection for earphone jack. But somewhere I got the idea that earphones with a USB-C type connection would work. Got a couple of pair w/USB-C jacks from Dollar Tree and they work - plugged into the charging port. The user's manual I downloaded from Samsung site did not mention being water resistant, but maybe it is. You'll have to buy a protective case. Everything seems to work well. Android Auto now works on Bluetooth w/out being plugged into the car. Phone works with my US Mobile plan. Wish it had a built-in app lock so I could just lock specific apps w/out locking the phone. It does have a secure folder but haven't figured out how to make that work. The TCL I upgraded from had a real FM radio built in. That was nice but I couldn't find that in any current models.

Would not recommend
Awful. I thought this would be a better choice as the previous phone was not a Samsung & I missed having one. I have spent over a month battling this thing. It overheats all the time, so I have to turn it off & sit it on an ice pack, like it sprained its ankle or something. It constantly freezes. Lags in opening most apps. NOT that I even set up everything yet because of this frustrating detail. I've deleted a lot & use the browser where I can to not overload the system. I have to clear cache, etc consistently. But more annoyingly, it keeps resetting my settings! Every time I restart the phone, which is at least once a day, usually more because it gives me a warning that it is slow, I have to go back into Accessibility & change everything back to how I want it. Earlier this week, it cut off my doctor from leaving a message. It took 4 days for the message to show up! I have had near-perfect service with my new carrier for 13 months. I did not have these issues with my other Samsungs over the years or even the previous other brand. Never had this a decade ago with my favorite brand, which no longer makes phones. This appears to be an A16 issue, or this specific phone issue. I missed the return window due to some health issues delaying things & needing a phone at that time. Now I'm stuck with a phone that malfunctions & worse - a payment plan. Once I get back on track, I will be trying to see if it can be looked at. I didn't need a malfunctioning phone at the time I needed it the most.
