Review: Feature tracking unusable (FYI - ALL OF THESE REVIEWS ARE NOT FOR THE SCANNER BUT FOR DOTS) - Product built well, comes with lots of good accessories including a case and turntable. Laser mode works okay but the software representation that shows you areas that you have scanned is awful. You can barely see where you need to cover. Tracking of dots is average. Angle supported isn’t too wide. Then the feature tracking, horrible. Tested on lots of feature rich items large and small. Lost tracking which then cause poor alignment of data. Bought a creality raptor and it’s night and day, even without the cross line laser. Don’t bother with this, at least until the software algorithms catch up. Also most of these reviews are for scanning spray. Not the Metro X they are clearly trying to pump up the reviews on desertcart. Those reviews that are for the scanner are from people who got the scanner for free.
